4 Then Jeshua, Bani, Kadmiel, Shebaniah, Bunni, Sherebiah, Bani, and Chenani of the Levites stood up on the stairs, and cried with a loud voice to Yahweh their God.Then stood up upon the stairs of the Levites, Jeshua, and Bani, Kadmiel, Shebaniah, Bunni, Sherebiah, Bani, and Chenani, and cried with a loud voice unto Jehovah their God.그때 레위 사람 가운데 예수아와 바니와 갓미엘과 스바냐와 분니와 세레뱌와 바니와 그나니가 층계 위에 서서 큰 소리로 여호와 그들의 하나님께 부르짖었다.
5 Then the Levites, Jeshua, and Kadmiel, Bani, Hashabneiah, Sherebiah, Hodiah, Shebaniah, and Pethahiah, said, “ Stand up and bless Yahweh your God from everlasting to everlasting! Blessed be your glorious name, which is exalted above all blessing and praise!Then the Levites, Jeshua, and Kadmiel, Bani, Hashabneiah, Sherebiah, Hodiah, Shebaniah, and Pethahiah, said, Stand up and bless Jehovah your God from everlasting to everlasting; and blessed be thy glorious name, which is exalted above all blessing and praise.그리고 레위 사람 예수아와 갓미엘과 바니와 하사브느야와 세레뱌와 호디야와 스바냐와 브다히야가 말하였다. "일어나 영원부터 영원까지 계시는 여호와 너희 하나님을 송축하라! 모든 송축과 찬양보다 높이 들리신 주의 영광스러운 이름을 송축할지로다!
6 You are Yahweh, even you alone. You have made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their army, the earth and all things that are on it, the seas and all that is in them, and you preserve them all. The army of heaven worships you.Thou art Jehovah, even thou alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth and all things that are thereon, the seas and all that is in them, and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee.주는 여호와시니 오직 주 한 분뿐이십니다. 주께서 하늘과 하늘들의 하늘과 그 모든 군대와 땅과 그 위에 있는 모든 것과 바다와 그 가운데 있는 모든 것을 지으셨고, 그 모두를 보존하시니, 하늘의 군대가 주께 경배합니다.
7 You are Yahweh, the God who chose Abram, brought him out of Ur of the Chaldees, gave him the name of Abraham,Thou art Jehovah the God, who didst choose Abram, and broughtest him forth out of Ur of the Chaldees, and gavest him the name of Abraham,주는 여호와 하나님이시니, 아브람을 택하시고 그를 갈대아 우르에서 이끌어 내시고 그에게 아브라함이라는 이름을 주셨으며,
8 found his heart faithful before you, and made a covenant with him to give the land of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Perizzite, the Jebusite, and the Girgashite, to give it to his offspring, and have performed your words, for you are righteous.and foundest his heart faithful before thee, and madest a covenant with him to give the land of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, and the Perizzite, and the Jebusite, and the Girgashite, to give it unto his seed, and hast performed thy words; for thou art righteous.그의 마음이 주 앞에서 신실함을 보시고 그와 언약을 세우사 가나안 사람과 헷 사람과 아모리 사람과 브리스 사람과 여부스 사람과 기르가스 사람의 땅을 그의 후손에게 주시겠다고 하셨고, 주의 말씀을 이루셨으니, 주는 의로우십니다.
9 “ You saw the affliction of our fathers in Egypt, and heard their cry by the Red Sea,And thou sawest the affliction of our fathers in Egypt, and heardest their cry by the Red Sea,주께서는 이집트에서 우리 조상들이 당한 고난을 보시고 홍해에서 그들이 부르짖는 소리를 들으셨으며,
10 and showed signs and wonders against Pharaoh, against all his servants, and against all the people of his land, for you knew that they dealt proudly against them, and made a name for yourself, as it is today.and showedst signs and wonders upon Pharaoh, and on all his servants, and on all the people of his land; for thou knewest that they dealt proudly against them, and didst get thee a name, as it is this day.바로와 그의 모든 신하와 그 땅 모든 백성에게 표적과 기적을 보이셨으니, 이는 그들이 우리 조상들을 교만하게 대한 줄을 주께서 아셨기 때문입니다. 그리하여 오늘과 같이 주께서 스스로 이름을 떨치셨습니다.
11 You divided the sea before them, so that they went through the middle of the sea on the dry land; and you cast their pursuers into the depths, as a stone into the mighty waters.And thou didst divide the sea before them, so that they went through the midst of the sea on the dry land; and their pursuers thou didst cast into the depths, as a stone into the mighty waters.주께서 그들 앞에서 바다를 갈라 그들이 마른 땅을 밟고 바다 가운데를 지나가게 하셨고, 그들을 쫓던 자들은 돌이 거센 물에 빠지듯 깊은 곳에 던지셨습니다.

13 “ You also came down on Mount Sinai, and spoke with them from heaven, and gave them right ordinances and true laws, good statutes and commandments,Thou camest down also upon mount Sinai, and spakest with them from heaven, and gavest them right ordinances and true laws, good statutes and commandments,주께서 또 시내 산에 내려오셔서 하늘에서 그들과 말씀하시고, 그들에게 바른 규례와 참된 율법과 선한 법도와 계명을 주셨으며,
14 and made known to them your holy Sabbath, and commanded them commandments, statutes, and a law, by Moses your servant,and madest known unto them thy holy sabbath, and commandedst them commandments, and statutes, and a law, by Moses thy servant,주의 거룩한 안식일을 그들에게 알려 주시고, 주의 종 모세를 통하여 그들에게 계명과 규례와 율법을 명하셨습니다.
15 and gave them bread from the sky for their hunger, and brought water out of the rock for them for their thirst, and commanded them that they should go in to possess the land which you had sworn to give them.and gavest them bread from heaven for their hunger, and broughtest forth water for them out of the rock for their thirst, and commandedst them that they should go in to possess the land which thou hadst sworn to give them.그들이 주릴 때에 하늘에서 양식을 주시고, 목마를 때에 반석에서 물을 내어 주셨으며, 주께서 그들에게 주시겠다고 맹세하신 땅에 들어가 차지하라고 명하셨습니다.
16 “ But they and our fathers behaved proudly, hardened their neck, didn’t listen to your commandments,But they and our fathers dealt proudly, and hardened their neck, and hearkened not to thy commandments,그러나 그들과 우리 조상들은 교만하게 행하고 목을 굳게 하여 주의 계명을 듣지 않았으며,
17 and refused to obey. They weren’t mindful of your wonders that you did among them, but hardened their neck, and in their rebellion appointed a captain to return to their bondage. 18 Yes, when they had made themselves a molded calf, and said, ‘ This is your God who brought you up out of Egypt,’ and had committed awful blasphemies,Yea, when they had made them a molten calf, and said, This is thy God that brought thee up out of Egypt, and had wrought great provocations;그들이 송아지를 부어 만들고 '이것이 너희를 이집트에서 인도해 낸 너희 하나님이라' 하며 심히 모독하는 말을 행하였을 때에도,
19 yet you in your manifold mercies didn’t forsake them in the wilderness. The pillar of cloud didn’t depart from over them by day, to lead them in the way; neither did the pillar of fire by night, to show them light, and the way in which they should go.yet thou in thy manifold mercies forsookest them not in the wilderness: the pillar of cloud departed not from over them by day, to lead them in the way; neither the pillar of fire by night, to show them light, and the way wherein they should go.주께서는 그 크신 긍휼로 그들을 광야에서 버리지 않으셨으니, 낮에는 구름 기둥이 그들 위에서 떠나지 아니하여 길을 인도하였고, 밤에는 불기둥이 떠나지 아니하여 그들이 가야 할 길에 빛을 비추었습니다.
20 You gave also your good Spirit to instruct them, and didn’t withhold your manna from their mouth, and gave them water for their thirst.Thou gavest also thy good Spirit to instruct them, and withheldest not thy manna from their mouth, and gavest them water for their thirst.또 주의 선한 영을 주어 그들을 가르치시고, 그들의 입에서 주의 만나를 끊지 아니하셨으며, 목마를 때에 물을 주셨습니다.
21 “Yes, forty years you sustained them in the wilderness. They lacked nothing. Their clothes didn’t grow old, and their feet didn’t swell.Yea, forty years didst thou sustain them in the wilderness, and they lacked nothing; their clothes waxed not old, and their feet swelled not.그렇게 사십 년 동안 주께서 광야에서 그들을 먹이시니 그들에게 부족함이 없었고, 옷이 해어지지 아니하며 발이 부르트지 아니하였습니다.
22 Moreover you gave them kingdoms and peoples, which you allotted according to their portions. So they possessed the land of Sihon, even the land of the king of Heshbon, and the land of Og king of Bashan.Moreover thou gavest them kingdoms and peoples, which thou didst allot after their portions: so they possessed the land of Sihon, even the land of the king of Heshbon, and the land of Og king of Bashan.또한 주께서 그들에게 나라들과 백성들을 주사 그 경계를 따라 나누어 주셨으니, 그리하여 그들은 시혼의 땅 곧 헤스본 왕의 땅과 바산 왕 옥의 땅을 차지하였습니다.
23 You also multiplied their children as the stars of the sky, and brought them into the land concerning which you said to their fathers that they should go in to possess it.Their children also multipliedst thou as the stars of heaven, and broughtest them into the land concerning which thou didst say to their fathers, that they should go in to possess it.주께서 그들의 자손을 하늘의 별처럼 많게 하시고, 그들을 그 땅으로 들어가게 하셨으니, 곧 주께서 그들의 조상들에게 들어가 차지하라고 말씀하신 땅입니다.
24 “ So the children went in and possessed the land; and you subdued before them the inhabitants of the land, the Canaanites, and gave them into their hands, with their kings and the peoples of the land, that they might do with them as they pleased.So the children went in and possessed the land, and thou subduedst before them the inhabitants of the land, the Canaanites, and gavest them into their hands, with their kings, and the peoples of the land, that they might do with them as they would.그리하여 그 자손이 들어가 그 땅을 차지하였고, 주께서 그 땅에 사는 가나안 사람들을 그들 앞에서 굴복시키사 그들의 손에 넘기시니, 곧 그 왕들과 그 땅 백성들을 임의로 다스리게 하셨습니다.
25 They took fortified cities and a rich land, and possessed houses full of all good things, cisterns dug out, vineyards, olive groves, and fruit trees in abundance. 26 “Nevertheless they were disobedient and rebelled against you, cast your law behind their back, killed your prophets that testified against them to turn them again to you, and they committed awful blasphemies.Nevertheless they were disobedient, and rebelled against thee, and cast thy law behind their back, and slew thy prophets that testified against them to turn them again unto thee, and they wrought great provocations.그럼에도 그들은 불순종하여 주를 거역하고 주의 율법을 등 뒤로 던지며, 그들을 돌이켜 주께로 돌아오게 하려고 경고한 주의 선지자들을 죽이고 심히 모독하는 일을 행하였습니다.
27 Therefore you delivered them into the hand of their adversaries, who distressed them. In the time of their trouble, when they cried to you, you heard from heaven; and according to your manifold mercies you gave them saviors who saved them out of the hands of their adversaries.Therefore thou deliveredst them into the hand of their adversaries, who distressed them: and in the time of their trouble, when they cried unto thee, thou heardest from heaven; and according to thy manifold mercies thou gavest them saviours who saved them out of the hand of their adversaries.그러므로 주께서 그들을 그들의 대적의 손에 넘기시니 대적이 그들을 괴롭게 하였습니다. 그러나 그들이 환난 중에 주께 부르짖을 때에 주께서 하늘에서 들으시고, 주의 크신 긍휼을 따라 그들에게 구원자들을 주사 대적의 손에서 구해 내셨습니다.
28 But after they had rest, they did evil again before you; therefore you left them in the hands of their enemies, so that they had the dominion over them; yet when they returned and cried to you, you heard from heaven; and many times you delivered them according to your mercies,But after they had rest, they did evil again before thee; therefore leftest thou them in the hand of their enemies, so that they had the dominion over them: yet when they returned, and cried unto thee, thou heardest from heaven; and many times didst thou deliver them according to thy mercies,그러나 그들이 평안을 얻은 후에는 다시 주 앞에서 악을 행하므로, 주께서 그들을 그들의 원수의 손에 버려두사 원수가 그들을 다스리게 하셨습니다. 그래도 그들이 돌이켜 주께 부르짖을 때에 주께서 하늘에서 들으시고 주의 긍휼을 따라 여러 번 그들을 건지셨습니다.
29 and testified against them, that you might bring them again to your law. Yet they were arrogant, and didn’t listen to your commandments, but sinned against your ordinances ( which if a man does, he shall live in them ), turned their backs, stiffened their neck, and would not hear.and testifiedst against them, that thou mightest bring them again unto thy law. Yet they dealt proudly, and hearkened not unto thy commandments, but sinned against thine ordinances ( which if a man do, he shall live in them ), and withdrew the shoulder, and hardened their neck, and would not hear.또 주께서 그들에게 경고하사 다시 주의 율법으로 돌아오게 하려 하셨으나, 그들은 교만하게 행하고 주의 계명을 듣지 않았으며 주의 규례를 거슬러 죄를 지었으니, 그 규례는 사람이 행하면 그로 말미암아 살리라 하신 것이었습니다. 그들은 등을 돌리고 목을 굳게 하여 들으려 하지 않았습니다.
30 Yet many years you put up with them, and testified against them by your Spirit through your prophets. Yet they would not listen. Therefore you gave them into the hand of the peoples of the lands.Yet many years didst thou bear with them, and testifiedst against them by thy Spirit through thy prophets: yet would they not give ear: therefore gavest thou them into the hand of the peoples of the lands.그래도 주께서는 여러 해 동안 그들을 참으시고 주의 영으로 주의 선지자들을 통하여 그들에게 경고하셨으나, 그들이 귀를 기울이지 아니하므로 주께서 그들을 여러 나라 백성의 손에 넘기셨습니다.
31 “ Nevertheless in your manifold mercies you didn’t make a full end of them, nor forsake them; for you are a gracious and merciful God.Nevertheless in thy manifold mercies thou didst not make a full end of them, nor forsake them; for thou art a gracious and merciful God.그러나 주께서는 크신 긍휼로 그들을 진멸하지 아니하시고 버리지도 아니하셨으니, 주는 은혜롭고 긍휼이 많으신 하나님이시기 때문입니다.
32 Now therefore, our God, the great, the mighty, and the awesome God, who keeps covenant and loving kindness, don’t let all the travail seem little before you that has come on us, on our kings, on our princes, on our priests, on our prophets, on our fathers, and on all your people, since the time of the kings of Assyria to this day.Now therefore, our God, the great, the mighty, and the terrible God, who keepest covenant and lovingkindness, let not all the travail seem little before thee, that hath come upon us, on our kings, on our princes, and on our priests, and on our prophets, and on our fathers, and on all thy people, since the time of the kings of Assyria unto this day.그러므로 이제 우리 하나님이여, 언약과 인자를 지키시는 크시고 능하시고 두려우신 하나님이여, 앗수르 왕들의 때로부터 오늘까지 우리와 우리 왕들과 우리 고관들과 우리 제사장들과 우리 선지자들과 우리 조상들과 주의 모든 백성에게 닥친 이 모든 고난을 주 앞에서 작게 여기지 마옵소서.
33 However you are just in all that has come on us; for you have dealt truly, but we have done wickedly.Howbeit thou art just in all that is come upon us; for thou hast dealt truly, but we have done wickedly;그러나 우리에게 닥친 이 모든 일에 주는 의로우시니, 주께서는 진실하게 행하셨으나 우리는 악하게 행하였습니다.
34 Also our kings, our princes, our priests, and our fathers have not kept your law, nor listened to your commandments and your testimonies with which you testified against them.neither have our kings, our princes, our priests, nor our fathers, kept thy law, nor hearkened unto thy commandments and thy testimonies wherewith thou didst testify against them.우리 왕들과 우리 고관들과 우리 제사장들과 우리 조상들이 주의 율법을 지키지 아니하였고, 주께서 그들에게 경고하신 주의 계명과 증거에 귀 기울이지 아니하였습니다.
35 For they have not served you in their kingdom, and in your great goodness that you gave them, and in the large and rich land which you gave before them. They didn’t turn from their wicked works.For they have not served thee in their kingdom, and in thy great goodness that thou gavest them, and in the large and fat land which thou gavest before them, neither turned they from their wicked works.그들은 그들의 나라에서 주께서 그들에게 주신 크신 은택과 주께서 그들 앞에 두신 넓고 기름진 땅에서도 주를 섬기지 아니하였고, 그들의 악한 행위에서 돌이키지도 아니하였습니다.
36 “ Behold, we are servants today, and as for the land that you gave to our fathers to eat its fruit and its good, behold, we are servants in it.Behold, we are servants this day, and as for the land that thou gavest unto our fathers to eat the fruit thereof and the good thereof, behold, we are servants in it.보십시오, 우리가 오늘 종이 되었습니다. 주께서 우리 조상들에게 주사 그 열매와 그 좋은 것을 먹게 하신 땅, 보십시오, 그 안에서 우리가 종이 되었습니다.
37 It yields much increase to the kings whom you have set over us because of our sins. Also they have power over our bodies and over our livestock, at their pleasure, and we are in great distress.And it yieldeth much increase unto the kings whom thou hast set over us because of our sins: also they have power over our bodies, and over our cattle, at their pleasure, and we are in great distress.우리의 죄로 인하여 주께서 우리 위에 세우신 왕들에게 그 땅이 많은 소출을 바치며, 또 그들이 그들의 뜻대로 우리 몸과 우리 가축을 다스리니, 우리가 큰 고난 중에 있습니다.
