1 The princes of the people lived in Jerusalem. The rest of the people also cast lots to bring one of ten to dwell in Jerusalem, the holy city, and nine parts in the other cities.And the princes of the people dwelt in Jerusalem: the rest of the people also cast lots, to bring one of ten to dwell in Jerusalem the holy city, and nine parts in the other cities.백성의 지도자들은 예루살렘에 살았고, 나머지 백성은 제비를 뽑아 열 명 가운데 한 명을 거룩한 성 예루살렘에 와서 살게 하고, 나머지 아홉은 다른 성읍들에 살게 하였다.
2 The people blessed all the men who willingly offered themselves to dwell in Jerusalem.And the people blessed all the men that willingly offered themselves to dwell in Jerusalem.백성은 스스로 자원하여 예루살렘에 와서 살기로 한 모든 사람을 축복하였다.
3 Now these are the chiefs of the province who lived in Jerusalem; but in the cities of Judah, everyone lived in his possession in their cities — Israel, the priests, the Levites, the temple servants, and the children of Solomon’s servants.Now these are the chiefs of the province that dwelt in Jerusalem: but in the cities of Judah dwelt every one in his possession in their cities, to wit, Israel, the priests, and the Levites, and the Nethinim, and the children of Solomon’s servants.예루살렘에 살았던 그 지방 지도자들은 다음과 같다. 그러나 유다의 성읍들에서는 저마다 자기 성읍의 자기 소유지에 살았으니, 곧 이스라엘 사람과 제사장들과 레위 사람들과 성전 봉사자들과 솔로몬의 종들의 자손들이었다.
4 Some of the children of Judah and of the children of Benjamin lived in Jerusalem. Of the children of Judah: Athaiah the son of Uzziah, the son of Zechariah, the son of Amariah, the son of Shephatiah, the son of Mahalalel, of the children of Perez;And in Jerusalem dwelt certain of the children of Judah, and of the children of Benjamin. Of the children of Judah: Athaiah the son of Uzziah, the son of Zechariah, the son of Amariah, the son of Shephatiah, the son of Mahalalel, of the children of Perez;예루살렘에는 유다 자손과 베냐민 자손 가운데 일부가 살았다. 유다 자손 가운데는 아다야가 있었는데, 그는 웃시야의 아들이요, 웃시야는 스가랴의 아들, 스가랴는 아마랴의 아들, 아마랴는 스바댜의 아들, 스바댜는 마할랄렐의 아들이니, 베레스 자손에 속하였다.

6 All the sons of Perez who lived in Jerusalem were four hundred sixty-eight valiant men.All the sons of Perez that dwelt in Jerusalem were four hundred threescore and eight valiant men.예루살렘에 살았던 베레스의 모든 자손은 용감한 사람 사백육십팔 명이었다.
7 These are the sons of Benjamin: Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Joed, the son of Pedaiah, the son of Kolaiah, the son of Maaseiah, the son of Ithiel, the son of Jeshaiah.And these are the sons of Benjamin: Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Joed, the son of Pedaiah, the son of Kolaiah, the son of Maaseiah, the son of Ithiel, the son of Jeshaiah.베냐민 자손은 다음과 같다. 살루가 있었으니, 그는 므술람의 아들이요, 므술람은 요엣의 아들, 요엣은 브다야의 아들, 브다야는 골라야의 아들, 골라야는 마아세야의 아들, 마아세야는 이디엘의 아들, 이디엘은 여사야의 아들이었다.
8 After him Gabbai and Sallai, nine hundred twenty-eight.And after him Gabbai, Sallai, nine hundred twenty and eight.그의 뒤를 이어 갑배와 살래가 있었으니, 모두 구백이십팔 명이었다.

15 Of the Levites: Shemaiah the son of Hasshub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Bunni;And of the Levites: Shemaiah the son of Hasshub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Bunni;레위 사람 가운데는 스마야가 있었으니, 그는 핫숩의 아들이요, 핫숩은 아스리감의 아들, 아스리감은 하사뱌의 아들, 하사뱌는 분니의 아들이었다.
16 and Shabbethai and Jozabad, of the chiefs of the Levites, who had the oversight of the outward business of God’s house;and Shabbethai and Jozabad, of the chiefs of the Levites, who had the oversight of the outward business of the house of God;또 사브대와 요사밧이 있었는데, 이들은 레위 사람의 지도자로서 하나님의 성전 바깥일을 맡아 다스렸다.

18 All the Levites in the holy city were two hundred eighty-four.All the Levites in the holy city were two hundred fourscore and four.거룩한 성에 사는 레위 사람은 모두 이백팔십사 명이었다.
19 Moreover the gatekeepers, Akkub, Talmon, and their brothers, who kept watch at the gates, were one hundred seventy-two.Moreover the porters, Akkub, Talmon, and their brethren, that kept watch at the gates, were a hundred seventy and two.그 밖에 문지기 악굽과 달몬과 그들의 형제들 곧 성문에서 파수하는 자들은 백칠십이 명이었다.
20 The residue of Israel, of the priests, and the Levites were in all the cities of Judah, everyone in his inheritance.And the residue of Israel, of the priests, the Levites, were in all the cities of Judah, every one in his inheritance.나머지 이스라엘 사람과 제사장들과 레위 사람들은 유다의 모든 성읍에 저마다 자기 유산이 있는 곳에 살았다.
21 But the temple servants lived in Ophel; and Ziha and Gishpa were over the temple servants.But the Nethinim dwelt in Ophel: and Ziha and Gishpa were over the Nethinim.그러나 성전 봉사자들은 오벨에 살았고, 시하와 기스바가 그 성전 봉사자들을 거느렸다.
22 The overseer also of the Levites at Jerusalem was Uzzi the son of Bani, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Mica, of the sons of Asaph, the singers responsible for the service of God’s house.The overseer also of the Levites at Jerusalem was Uzzi the son of Bani, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Mica, of the sons of Asaph, the singers, over the business of the house of God.예루살렘에 있는 레위 사람의 감독자는 웃시였으니, 그는 바니의 아들이요, 바니는 하사뱌의 아들, 하사뱌는 맛다냐의 아들, 맛다냐는 미가의 아들이었다. 그는 아삽의 자손으로 찬송하는 자들 가운데 하나였으며, 하나님의 성전 일을 맡았다.

24 Pethahiah the son of Meshezabel, of the children of Zerah the son of Judah, was at the king’s hand in all matters concerning the people.And Pethahiah the son of Meshezabel, of the children of Zerah the son of Judah, was at the king’s hand in all matters concerning the people.유다의 아들 세라의 자손인 므세사벨의 아들 브다히야는 백성에 관한 모든 일에서 왕을 보좌하는 자였다.
25 As for the villages with their fields, some of the children of Judah lived in Kiriath Arba and its towns, in Dibon and its towns, in Jekabzeel and its villages,And as for the villages, with their fields, some of the children of Judah dwelt in Kiriath-arba and the towns thereof, and in Dibon and the towns thereof, and in Jekabzeel and the villages thereof,마을들과 그 밭에 대해 말하자면, 유다 자손 가운데 일부는 기럇 아르바와 그 부근 마을들에, 디본과 그 부근 마을들에, 여갑스엘과 그 마을들에 살았고,
26 in Jeshua, in Moladah, Beth Pelet,and in Jeshua, and in Moladah, and Beth-pelet,또 예수아와 몰라다와 벧벨렛에,
27 in Hazar Shual, in Beersheba and its towns,and in Hazar-shual, and in Beer-sheba and the towns thereof,또 하살 수알과 브엘세바와 그 부근 마을들에,

33 Hazor, Ramah, Gittaim,Hazor, Ramah, Gittaim,하솔과 라마와 깃다임에,
