Acts 24장

After five days, the high priest, Ananias, came down with certain elders and an orator, one Tertullus. They informed the governor against Paul. And after five days the high priest Ananias came down with certain elders, and with an orator, one Tertullus; and they informed the governor against Paul.

When he was called, Tertullus began to accuse him, saying, “ Seeing that by you we enjoy much peace, and that prosperity is coming to this nation by your foresight,And when he was called, Tertullus began to accuse him, saying, Seeing that by thee we enjoy much peace, and that by thy providence evils are corrected for this nation,바울이 불려 나오자 더둘로가 그를 고발하기 시작하며 말하였습니다.

we accept it in all ways and in all places, most excellent Felix, with all thankfulness.we accept it in all ways and in all places, most excellent Felix, with all thankfulness.

But that I don’ t delay you, I entreat you to bear with us and hear a few words. But, that I be not further tedious unto thee, I entreat thee to hear us of thy clemency a few words.

For we have found this man to be a plague, an instigator of insurrections among all the Jews throughout the world, and a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes. For we have found this man a pestilent fellow, and a mover of insurrections among all the Jews throughout the world, and a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes:우리가 알아본 바로는 이 사람은 전염병 같은 자요, 온 세상의 모든 유대 사람 가운데서 소요를 일으키는 선동자이며, 나사렛 이단의 우두머리입니다.

He even tried to profane the temple, and we arrested him.who moreover assayed to profane the temple: on whom also we laid hold:

By examining him yourself you may ascertain all these things of which we accuse him.”from whom thou wilt be able, by examining him thyself, to take knowledge of all these things whereof we accuse him.

The Jews also joined in the attack, affirming that these things were so.And the Jews also joined in the charge, affirming that these things were so.

When the governor had beckoned to him to speak, Paul answered, “ Because I know that you have been a judge of this nation for many years, I cheerfully make my defense,And when the governor had beckoned unto him to speak, Paul answered, Forasmuch as I know that thou hast been of many years a judge unto this nation, I cheerfully make my defence:총독이 바울에게 말하라고 손짓하자 바울이 대답하였습니다.

seeing that you can verify that it is not more than twelve days since I went up to worship at Jerusalem.seeing that thou canst take knowledge that it is not more than twelve days since I went up to worship at Jerusalem:각하께서도 아실 수 있듯이, 제가 예루살렘에 예배하러 올라간 지는 열이틀밖에 되지 않았습니다.

In the temple they didn’ t find me disputing with anyone or stirring up a crowd, either in the synagogues or in the city.and neither in the temple did they find me disputing with any man or stirring up a crowd, nor in the synagogues, nor in the city.

Nor can they prove to you the things of which they now accuse me.Neither can they prove to thee the things whereof they now accuse me.

But this I confess to you, that according to the Way, which they call a sect, so I serve the God of our fathers, believing all things which are according to the law, and which are written in the prophets; But this I confess unto thee, that after the Way which they call a sect, so serve I the God of our fathers, believing all things which are according to the law, and which are written in the prophets;그러나 이것만은 각하께 고백합니다.

having hope toward God, which these also themselves look for, that there will be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.having hope toward God, which these also themselves look for, that there shall be a resurrection both of the just and unjust.

In this I also practice always having a conscience void of offense toward God and men.Herein I also exercise myself to have a conscience void of offence toward God and men always.

Now after some years, I came to bring gifts for the needy to my nation, and offerings; Now after some years I came to bring alms to my nation, and offerings:그런데 여러 해 만에 제가 제 민족에게 가난한 이들을 위한 구제금을 전하고 또 예물을 드리려고 왔습니다.

amid which certain Jews from Asia found me purified in the temple, not with a mob, nor with turmoil.amidst which they found me purified in the temple, with no crowd, nor yet with tumult: but there were certain Jews from Asia —그러던 중에 아시아에서 온 어떤 유대 사람들이, 제가 무리도 없고 소란도 없이 성전에서 정결 예식을 마친 것을 보았습니다.

They ought to have been here before you and to make accusation if they had anything against me.who ought to have been here before thee, and to make accusation, if they had aught against me.

Or else let these men themselves say what injustice they found in me when I stood before the council,Or else let these men themselves say what wrong-doing they found when I stood before the council,그렇지 않다면 제가 공회 앞에 섰을 때 무슨 잘못이 제게서 발견되었는지 이 사람들 자신이 말하게 하십시오.

unless it is for this one thing that I cried standing among them, ‘ Concerning the resurrection of the dead I am being judged before you today!’”except it be for this one voice, that I cried standing among them, Touching the resurrection of the dead I am called in question before you this day.

But Felix, having more exact knowledge concerning the Way, deferred them, saying, “ When Lysias, the commanding officer, comes down, I will decide your case.”But Felix, having more exact knowledge concerning the Way, deferred them, saying, When Lysias the chief captain shall come down, I will determine your matter.

He ordered the centurion that Paul should be kept in custody and should have some privileges, and not to forbid any of his friends to serve him or to visit him.And he gave order to the centurion that he should be kept in charge, and should have indulgence; and not to forbid any of his friends to minister unto him.

After some days, Felix came with Drusilla his wife, who was a Jewess, and sent for Paul and heard him concerning the faith in Christ Jesus. But after certain days, Felix came with Drusilla, his wife, who was a Jewess, and sent for Paul, and heard him concerning the faith in Christ Jesus.

As he reasoned about righteousness, self-control, and the judgment to come, Felix was terrified, and answered, “ Go your way for this time, and when it is convenient for me, I will summon you.”And as he reasoned of righteousness, and self-control, and the judgment to come, Felix was terrified, and answered, Go thy way for this time; and when I have a convenient season, I will call thee unto me.

Meanwhile, he also hoped that money would be given to him by Paul, that he might release him. Therefore also he sent for him more often and talked with him.He hoped withal that money would be given him of Paul: wherefore also he sent for him the oftener, and communed with him.

But when two years were fulfilled, Felix was succeeded by Porcius Festus, and desiring to gain favor with the Jews, Felix left Paul in bonds. But when two years were fulfilled, Felix was succeeded by Porcius Festus; and desiring to gain favor with the Jews, Felix left Paul in bonds.
