1 I saw the Lord standing beside the altar, and he said, “ Strike the tops of the pillars, that the thresholds may shake. Break them in pieces on the head of all of them. I will kill the last of them with the sword. Not one of them will flee away. Not one of them will escape.I saw the Lord standing beside the altar: and he said, Smite the capitals, that the thresholds may shake; and break them in pieces on the head of all of them; and I will slay the last of them with the sword: there shall not one of them flee away, and there shall not one of them escape.내가 보니 주께서 제단 곁에 서 계셨다. 그분이 말씀하셨다. "기둥머리를 쳐서 문지방이 흔들리게 하고, 그것들을 부수어 모든 사람의 머리 위에 떨어뜨려라. 그들 가운데 남은 자들을 내가 칼로 죽이리니, 한 사람도 달아나지 못하고 한 사람도 피하지 못할 것이다.
2 Though they dig into Sheol, there my hand will take them; and though they climb up to heaven, there I will bring them down.Though they dig into Sheol, thence shall my hand take them; and though they climb up to heaven, thence will I bring them down.그들이 스올로 파고 내려가도 거기서 내 손이 그들을 붙잡을 것이며, 그들이 하늘로 기어 올라가도 거기서 내가 그들을 끌어내릴 것이다.
3 Though they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, I will search and take them out from there; and though they be hidden from my sight in the bottom of the sea, there I will command the serpent, and it will bite them.And though they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, I will search and take them out thence; and though they be hid from my sight in the bottom of the sea, thence will I command the serpent, and it shall bite them.그들이 갈멜산 꼭대기에 숨어도 내가 거기서 찾아 끌어낼 것이며, 그들이 내 눈을 피해 바다 밑에 숨어도 거기서 내가 뱀에게 명령하여 그들을 물게 할 것이다.
4 Though they go into captivity before their enemies, there I will command the sword, and it will kill them. I will set my eyes on them for evil, and not for good.And though they go into captivity before their enemies, thence will I command the sword, and it shall slay them: and I will set mine eyes upon them for evil, and not for good.그들이 원수들 앞에서 사로잡혀 끌려가도 거기서 내가 칼에게 명령하여 그들을 죽이게 할 것이다. 내가 그들에게 눈을 두되, 복이 아니라 화를 위하여 두리라."
5 For the Lord, Yahweh of Armies, is he who touches the land and it melts, and all who dwell in it will mourn; and it will rise up wholly like the River, and will sink again, like the River of Egypt.For the Lord, Jehovah of hosts, is he that toucheth the land and it melteth, and all that dwell therein shall mourn; and it shall rise up wholly like the River, and shall sink again, like the River of Egypt;주, 만군의 여호와는 땅을 만지시면 그 땅이 녹는 분이시니, 그 안에 사는 모든 사람이 슬피 울 것이며, 온 땅이 나일강처럼 솟아올랐다가 이집트의 강처럼 다시 가라앉을 것이다.
6 It is he who builds his rooms in the heavens, and has founded his vault on the earth; he who calls for the waters of the sea, and pours them out on the surface of the earth — Yahweh is his name.it is he that buildeth his chambers in the heavens, and hath founded his vault upon the earth; he that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth; Jehovah is his name.그분은 하늘에 자기 처소를 지으시고 땅 위에 그 궁창을 세우신 분이시며, 바닷물을 불러 땅 위에 쏟아부으시는 분이시니, 그 이름은 여호와이시다.
7 Are you not like the children of the Ethiopians to me, children of Israel?” says Yahweh. “Haven’t I brought up Israel out of the land of Egypt, and the Philistines from Caphtor, and the Syrians from Kir?Are ye not as the children of the Ethiopians unto me, O children of Israel? saith Jehovah. Have not I brought up Israel out of the land of Egypt, and the Philistines from Caphtor, and the Syrians from Kir?"이스라엘 자손아, 너희가 내게 에티오피아 사람의 자손과 같지 아니하냐?" 여호와께서 말씀하신다. "내가 이스라엘을 이집트 땅에서 이끌어 올리지 아니하였느냐? 또 블레셋 사람을 갑돌에서, 시리아 사람을 길에서 이끌어 오지 아니하였느냐?
8 Behold, the eyes of the Lord Yahweh are on the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the surface of the earth, except that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob,” says Yahweh.Behold, the eyes of the Lord Jehovah are upon the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth; save that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, saith Jehovah.보라, 주 여호와의 눈이 죄 많은 나라를 향해 있으니, 내가 그것을 땅 위에서 멸하리라. 그러나 내가 야곱의 집을 다 멸하지는 않으리라." 여호와께서 말씀하신다.
9 “ For behold, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all the nations as grain is sifted in a sieve, yet not the least kernel will fall on the earth.For, lo, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all the nations, like as grain is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least kernel fall upon the earth."보라, 내가 명령하여, 마치 곡식을 체로 치듯이 이스라엘의 집을 모든 민족 가운데서 흔들어 치게 하리라. 그러나 작은 알갱이 하나도 땅에 떨어지지 않으리라.
10 All the sinners of my people will die by the sword, who say, ‘ Evil won’t overtake nor meet us.’All the sinners of my people shall die by the sword, who say, The evil shall not overtake nor meet us.'재앙이 우리를 따라잡지도 만나지도 못한다'라고 말하는 내 백성의 모든 죄인은 칼에 죽으리라."
11 In that day I will raise up the tent of David who is fallen and close up its breaches, and I will raise up its ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old,In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up its ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old;"그날에 내가 무너진 다윗의 장막을 일으켜 그 갈라진 곳을 막고, 그 허물어진 것을 일으키며, 옛날과 같이 그것을 세우리라.
12 that they may possess the remnant of Edom and all the nations who are called by my name,” says Yahweh who does this.that they may possess the remnant of Edom, and all the nations that are called by my name, saith Jehovah that doeth this.그리하여 그들이 에돔의 남은 자와 내 이름으로 일컬음 받는 모든 민족을 차지하게 하리라." 이 일을 행하시는 여호와께서 말씀하신다.
13 “ Behold, the days come,” says Yahweh, “ that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the one treading grapes him who sows seed; and sweet wine will drip from the mountains, and flow from the hills.Behold, the days come, saith Jehovah, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt."보라, 날이 이르리니," 여호와께서 말씀하신다. "밭 가는 자가 거두는 자를 따라잡고, 포도를 밟는 자가 씨 뿌리는 자를 따라잡으며, 산에서 단 포도주가 흘러내리고 모든 언덕에서 흐를 것이다.
14 I will bring my people Israel back from captivity, and they will rebuild the ruined cities, and inhabit them; and they will plant vineyards, and drink wine from them. They shall also make gardens, and eat their fruit.And I will bring back the captivity of my people Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them.내가 내 백성 이스라엘을 사로잡힌 데서 돌아오게 하리니, 그들이 황폐한 성읍들을 다시 세워 거기 살고, 포도원을 가꾸어 그 포도주를 마시며, 동산을 만들어 그 열매를 먹으리라.
15 I will plant them on their land, and they will no more be plucked up out of their land which I have given them,” says Yahweh your God.And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be plucked up out of their land which I have given them, saith Jehovah thy God.내가 그들을 그들의 땅에 심으리니, 그들이 내가 준 땅에서 다시는 뽑히지 아니하리라." 네 하나님 여호와께서 말씀하신다.
