1 Yahweh says: “ For three transgressions of Moab, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment, because he burned the bones of the king of Edom into lime;Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of Moab, yea, for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he burned the bones of the king of Edom into lime.여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. "모압이 지은 서너 가지 죄 때문에 나는 그 형벌을 돌이키지 않겠다. 그는 에돔 왕의 뼈를 불살라 석회로 만들었기 때문이다.
2 but I will send a fire on Moab, and it will devour the palaces of Kerioth; and Moab will die with tumult, with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet;But I will send a fire upon Moab, and it shall devour the palaces of Kerioth; and Moab shall die with tumult, with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet;그러므로 내가 모압에 불을 보내어 그리욧의 궁궐들을 삼키게 하겠다. 모압은 소란과 함성과 나팔 소리 가운데 죽을 것이다.
3 and I will cut off the judge from among them, and will kill all its princes with him,” says Yahweh.and I will cut off the judge from the midst thereof, and will slay all the princes thereof with him, saith Jehovah.내가 그 가운데서 재판관을 끊어 버리고, 그와 함께 그 모든 고관들을 죽이겠다." 여호와께서 말씀하신다.
4 Yahweh says: “ For three transgressions of Judah, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment, because they have rejected Yahweh’s law, and have not kept his statutes, and their lies have led them astray, after which their fathers walked;Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of Judah, yea, for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have rejected the law of Jehovah, and have not kept his statutes, and their lies have caused them to err, after which their fathers did walk.여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. "유다가 지은 서너 가지 죄 때문에 나는 그 형벌을 돌이키지 않겠다. 그들이 여호와의 율법을 저버리고 그분의 규례를 지키지 않았으며, 그들의 조상이 따라 걸었던 거짓된 것들에 미혹되었기 때문이다.
5 but I will send a fire on Judah, and it will devour the palaces of Jerusalem.”But I will send a fire upon Judah, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem.그러므로 내가 유다에 불을 보내어 예루살렘의 궁궐들을 삼키게 하겠다."
6 Yahweh says: “ For three transgressions of Israel, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment, because they have sold the righteous for silver, and the needy for a pair of sandals;Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of Israel, yea, for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have sold the righteous for silver, and the needy for a pair of shoes —여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. "이스라엘이 지은 서너 가지 죄 때문에 나는 그 형벌을 돌이키지 않겠다. 그들이 의로운 사람을 은 몇 푼에 팔고, 가난한 사람을 신 한 켤레 값에 팔았기 때문이다.
7 They trample the heads of the poor into the dust of the earth and deny justice to the oppressed. A man and his father use the same maiden, to profane my holy name.they that pant after the dust of the earth on the head of the poor, and turn aside the way of the meek: and a man and his father go unto the same maiden, to profane my holy name:그들은 힘없는 자의 머리를 땅의 티끌처럼 짓밟고, 억눌린 사람의 권리를 외면한다. 아버지와 아들이 같은 여인에게 드나들어 나의 거룩한 이름을 더럽힌다.
8 They lay themselves down beside every altar on clothes taken in pledge. In the house of their God they drink the wine of those who have been fined.and they lay themselves down beside every altar upon clothes taken in pledge; and in the house of their God they drink the wine of such as have been fined.그들은 저당 잡은 옷을 깔고 모든 제단 곁에 드러눕고, 벌금으로 거둔 포도주를 자기들의 신전에서 마신다.

11 I raised up some of your sons for prophets, and some of your young men for Nazirites. Isn’t this true, you children of Israel?” says Yahweh.And I raised up of your sons for prophets, and of your young men for Nazirites. Is it not even thus, O ye children of Israel? saith Jehovah.내가 너희 아들들 가운데서 선지자를, 너희 젊은이들 가운데서 나실 사람을 일으켰다. 이스라엘 자손아, 이것이 사실이 아니냐?" 여호와께서 말씀하신다.
12 “ But you gave the Nazirites wine to drink, and commanded the prophets, saying, ‘Don’t prophesy!’But ye gave the Nazirites wine to drink, and commanded the prophets, saying, Prophesy not."그러나 너희는 나실 사람에게 포도주를 마시게 하고, 선지자들에게 '예언하지 말라'고 명령하였다.
13 Behold, I will crush you in your place, as a cart crushes that is full of grain.Behold, I will press you in your place, as a cart presseth that is full of sheaves.보라, 곡식을 가득 실은 수레가 내리누르듯, 내가 너희를 그 자리에서 내리누르겠다.
14 Flight will perish from the swift. The strong won’t strengthen his force. The mighty won’t deliver himself.And flight shall perish from the swift; and the strong shall not strengthen his force; neither shall the mighty deliver himself;빠른 자도 도망치지 못하고, 강한 자도 그 힘을 떨치지 못하며, 용사도 자기 목숨을 건지지 못한다.
15 He who handles the bow won’t stand. He who is swift of foot won’t escape. He who rides the horse won’t deliver himself.neither shall he stand that handleth the bow; and he that is swift of foot shall not deliver himself; neither shall he that rideth the horse deliver himself;활을 다루는 자도 버티지 못하고, 발 빠른 자도 피하지 못하며, 말 탄 자도 자기 목숨을 건지지 못한다.
16 He who is courageous among the mighty will flee away naked on that day,” says Yahweh.and he that is courageous among the mighty shall flee away naked in that day, saith Jehovah.용사 가운데 가장 담대한 자라도 그날에는 벌거벗은 채로 도망칠 것이다." 여호와께서 말씀하신다.
