1 Working together, we entreat also that you do not receive the grace of God in vain.And working together with him we entreat also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain우리는 하나님과 함께 일하는 사람으로서, 여러분이 하나님의 은혜를 헛되이 받지 않도록 간곡히 권합니다.
2 For he says, “ At an acceptable time I listened to you. In a day of salvation I helped you.” Behold, now is the acceptable time. Behold, now is the day of salvation.( for he saith, At an acceptable time I hearkened unto thee, And in a day of salvation did I succor thee: behold, now is the acceptable time; behold, now is the day of salvation ):하나님께서 이렇게 말씀하시기 때문입니다. "은혜를 베풀 때에 내가 네 말을 들었고, 구원의 날에 내가 너를 도왔다." 보십시오, 지금이 바로 은혜의 때입니다. 보십시오, 지금이 바로 구원의 날입니다.
3 We give no occasion of stumbling in anything, that our service may not be blamed,giving no occasion of stumbling in anything, that our ministration be not blamed;우리는 우리의 섬김이 비난받지 않도록, 그 어떤 일에서도 걸림돌이 되지 않으려 합니다.
4 but in everything commending ourselves as servants of God: in great endurance, in afflictions, in hardships, in distresses,but in everything commending ourselves, as ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,오히려 모든 일에서 우리가 하나님의 일꾼임을 드러냅니다. 큰 인내로, 환난과 궁핍과 곤경 가운데서,
5 in beatings, in imprisonments, in riots, in labors, in watchings, in fastings,in stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labors, in watchings, in fastings;매 맞음과 갇힘과 소요 가운데서, 수고와 잠 못 이룸과 굶주림 가운데서 그렇게 합니다.
6 in pureness, in knowledge, in perseverance, in kindness, in the Holy Spirit, in sincere love,in pureness, in knowledge, in longsuffering, in kindness, in the Holy Spirit, in love unfeigned,또한 깨끗함과 지식과 오래 참음과 친절함으로, 성령 안에서, 거짓 없는 사랑으로,
7 in the word of truth, in the power of God, by the armor of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,in the word of truth, in the power of God; by the armor of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,진리의 말씀과 하나님의 능력으로, 오른손과 왼손에 의의 무기를 들고 그렇게 합니다.
8 by glory and dishonor, by evil report and good report, as deceivers and yet true,by glory and dishonor, by evil report and good report; as deceivers, and yet true;영광과 모욕을 받으며, 나쁜 평판과 좋은 평판을 받으며, 속이는 자 같으나 참되며,
9 as unknown and yet well known, as dying and behold — we live, as punished and not killed,as unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed;알려지지 않은 자 같으나 잘 알려졌고, 죽어 가는 자 같으나 보십시오, 우리는 살아 있으며, 징계를 받는 자 같으나 죽임을 당하지는 않으며,
10 as sorrowful yet always rejoicing, as poor yet making many rich, as having nothing and yet possessing all things.as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.근심하는 자 같으나 언제나 기뻐하며, 가난한 자 같으나 많은 사람을 부요하게 하며, 아무것도 없는 자 같으나 모든 것을 가진 자입니다.
11 Our mouth is open to you, Corinthians. Our heart is enlarged.Our mouth is open unto you, O Corinthians, our heart is enlarged.고린도 사람들이여, 우리가 여러분에게 입을 열어 솔직히 말하였고, 우리의 마음을 활짝 열어 놓았습니다.
12 You are not restricted by us, but you are restricted by your own affections.Ye are not straitened in us, but ye are straitened in your own affections.여러분이 우리에게 마음이 좁아진 것이 아니라, 여러분 자신의 애정이 좁아진 것입니다.
13 Now in return— I speak as to my children — you also open your hearts.Now for a recompense in like kind ( I speak as unto my children ), be ye also enlarged.내가 내 자녀에게 말하듯이 말합니다. 여러분도 보답하는 마음으로 마음을 활짝 여십시오.
14 Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship do righteousness and iniquity have? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness?Be not unequally yoked with unbelievers: for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? or what communion hath light with darkness?믿지 않는 사람들과 어울리지 않는 멍에를 함께 메지 마십시오. 의와 불법이 어찌 함께하겠습니까? 빛과 어둠이 어찌 사귈 수 있겠습니까?
15 What agreement does Christ have with Belial? Or what portion does a believer have with an unbeliever?And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what portion hath a believer with an unbeliever?그리스도와 벨리알이 어찌 일치하겠습니까? 믿는 자와 믿지 않는 자가 어찌 함께 나눌 수 있겠습니까?
16 What agreement does a temple of God have with idols? For you are a temple of the living God. Even as God said, “ I will dwell in them and walk in them. I will be their God and they will be my people.”And what agreement hath a temple of God with idols? for we are a temple of the living God; even as God said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.하나님의 성전과 우상이 어찌 어울릴 수 있겠습니까? 우리는 살아 계신 하나님의 성전이기 때문입니다. 하나님께서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. "내가 그들 가운데 거하며 그들 가운데 다니겠고, 나는 그들의 하나님이 되고 그들은 내 백성이 될 것이다."
17 Therefore “‘ Come out from among them, and be separate,’ says the Lord. ‘Touch no unclean thing. I will receive you.Wherefore Come ye out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, And touch no unclean thing; And I will receive you,그러므로 주님께서 말씀하십니다. "그들 가운데서 나와 따로 떨어져 있으라. 부정한 것에 손대지 말라. 그리하면 내가 너희를 받아들이겠고,
18 I will be to you a Father. You will be to me sons and daughters,’ says the Lord Almighty.”And will be to you a Father, And ye shall be to me sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.너희에게 아버지가 되고, 너희는 내게 아들과 딸이 될 것이다." 전능하신 주님께서 말씀하십니다.
