1 “ Say to your brothers, ‘ My people!’ and to your sisters, ‘ My loved one!’Say ye unto your brethren, Ammi; and to your sisters, Ruhamah.너희 형제들에게는 "내 백성아!" 하고, 너희 자매들에게는 "사랑받는 자야!" 하고 말하여라.

4 Indeed, on her children I will have no mercy, for they are children of unfaithfulness.Yea, upon her children will I have no mercy; for they are children of whoredom;참으로 내가 그의 자녀들에게도 긍휼을 베풀지 않으리니, 그들은 음행으로 태어난 자녀들이기 때문이다.

16 It will be in that day,” says Yahweh, “ that you will call me ‘ my husband,’ and no longer call me ‘ my master.’And it shall be at that day, saith Jehovah, that thou shalt call me Ishi, and shalt call me no more Baali.그날에 이르러 네가 나를 "내 남편"이라 부르고, 다시는 "내 주인"이라 부르지 아니하리라, 여호와의 말이다.
17 For I will take away the names of the Baals out of her mouth, and they will no longer be mentioned by name.For I will take away the names of the Baalim out of her mouth, and they shall no more be mentioned by their name.내가 바알들의 이름을 그의 입에서 제거하리니, 다시는 그것들이 이름으로 일컬어지지 아니하리라.
18 In that day I will make a covenant for them with the animals of the field, and with the birds of the sky, and with the creeping things of the ground. I will break the bow, the sword, and the battle out of the land, and will make them lie down safely.And in that day will I make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field, and with the birds of the heavens, and with the creeping things of the ground: and I will break the bow and the sword and the battle out of the land, and will make them to lie down safely.그날에 내가 그들을 위하여 들짐승과 공중의 새와 땅에 기는 것들과 언약을 맺으리라. 또 내가 활과 칼과 전쟁을 이 땅에서 꺾어 버리고, 그들이 안전하게 눕게 하리라.
19 I will betroth you to me forever. Yes, I will betroth you to me in righteousness, in justice, in loving kindness, and in compassion.And I will betroth thee unto me for ever; yea, I will betroth thee unto me in righteousness, and in justice, and in lovingkindness, and in mercies.내가 너를 영원히 내게 맞아들이리라. 그렇다, 내가 의와 공의와 인자와 긍휼로 너를 내게 맞아들이리라.
20 I will even betroth you to me in faithfulness; and you shall know Yahweh.I will even betroth thee unto me in faithfulness; and thou shalt know Jehovah.내가 진실로 너를 신실함으로 내게 맞아들이리니, 네가 여호와를 알리라.
21 It will happen in that day, that I will respond,” says Yahweh. “I will respond to the heavens, and they will respond to the earth;And it shall come to pass in that day, I will answer, saith Jehovah, I will answer the heavens, and they shall answer the earth;그날에 이르러 내가 응답하리라, 여호와의 말이다. 내가 하늘에 응답하고, 하늘은 땅에 응답하며,
22 and the earth will respond to the grain, and the new wine, and the oil; and they will respond to Jezreel.and the earth shall answer the grain, and the new wine, and the oil; and they shall answer Jezreel.땅은 곡식과 새 포도주와 기름에 응답하고, 그것들은 이스르엘에 응답하리라.
23 I will sow her to me in the earth; and I will have mercy on her who had not obtained mercy; and I will tell those who were not my people, ‘ You are my people;’ and they will say, ‘ You are My God!’”And I will sow her unto me in the earth; and I will have mercy upon her that had not obtained mercy; and I will say to them that were not my people, Thou art my people; and they shall say, Thou art my God.내가 그를 이 땅에 나를 위해 심으리라. 또 내가 긍휼을 얻지 못하였던 자에게 긍휼을 베풀고, 내 백성이 아니던 자들에게 "너는 내 백성이라" 하리니, 그들은 "내 하나님!" 하고 말하리라.
