1 Yahweh’s word that came to Hosea the son of Beeri, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel.The word of Jehovah that came unto Hosea the son of Beeri, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel.유다 왕 웃시야와 요담과 아하스와 히스기야 시대, 그리고 이스라엘 왕 요아스의 아들 여로보암 시대에, 브에리의 아들 호세아에게 임한 여호와의 말씀입니다.
2 When Yahweh spoke at first by Hosea, Yahweh said to Hosea, “ Go, take for yourself a wife of prostitution and children of unfaithfulness; for the land commits great adultery, forsaking Yahweh.”When Jehovah spake at the first by Hosea, Jehovah said unto Hosea, Go, take unto thee a wife of whoredom and children of whoredom; for the land doth commit great whoredom, departing from Jehovah.여호와께서 호세아를 통하여 처음 말씀하실 때에, 여호와께서 호세아에게 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. "가서 음란한 여인을 아내로 맞이하고, 음란에서 난 자녀들을 얻어라. 이 땅이 여호와를 떠나 크게 음행하고 있기 때문이다."
3 So he went and took Gomer the daughter of Diblaim; and she conceived, and bore him a son.So he went and took Gomer the daughter of Diblaim; and she conceived, and bare him a son.그래서 호세아는 가서 디블라임의 딸 고멜을 아내로 맞이하였고, 고멜이 임신하여 그에게 아들을 낳아 주었습니다.
4 Yahweh said to him, “ Call his name Jezreel, for yet a little while, and I will avenge the blood of Jezreel on the house of Jehu, and will cause the kingdom of the house of Israel to cease.And Jehovah said unto him, Call his name Jezreel; for yet a little while, and I will avenge the blood of Jezreel upon the house of Jehu, and will cause the kingdom of the house of Israel to cease.여호와께서 호세아에게 말씀하셨습니다. "그 이름을 이스르엘이라 하여라. 이제 조금 있으면 내가 이스르엘에서 흘린 피의 죄를 예후의 집에 갚고, 이스라엘 집안의 나라를 끝내 버릴 것이기 때문이다.
5 It will happen in that day that I will break the bow of Israel in the valley of Jezreel.”And it shall come to pass at that day, that I will break the bow of Israel in the valley of Jezreel.그 날에 내가 이스르엘 골짜기에서 이스라엘의 활을 꺾어 버리겠다."
6 She conceived again, and bore a daughter. Then he said to him, “ Call her name Lo-Ruhamah, for I will no longer have mercy on the house of Israel, that I should in any way pardon them.And she conceived again, and bare a daughter. And Jehovah said unto him, Call her name Lo-ruhamah; for I will no more have mercy upon the house of Israel, that I should in any wise pardon them.고멜이 다시 임신하여 딸을 낳았습니다. 여호와께서 호세아에게 말씀하셨습니다. "그 이름을 로루하마라 하여라. 내가 다시는 이스라엘 집안에 긍휼을 베풀지 않을 것이며, 그들을 결코 용서하지 않을 것이기 때문이다.
7 But I will have mercy on the house of Judah, and will save them by Yahweh their God, and will not save them by bow, sword, battle, horses, or horsemen.”But I will have mercy upon the house of Judah, and will save them by Jehovah their God, and will not save them by bow, nor by sword, nor by battle, by horses, nor by horsemen.그러나 내가 유다 집안에는 긍휼을 베풀어, 그들의 하나님 여호와로 말미암아 그들을 구원하겠다. 활이나 칼이나 전쟁이나 말이나 기병으로 구원하지 않을 것이다."
8 Now when she had weaned Lo-Ruhamah, she conceived, and bore a son.Now when she had weaned Lo-ruhamah, she conceived, and bare a son.고멜이 로루하마를 젖 뗀 뒤에 다시 임신하여 아들을 낳았습니다.
9 He said, “ Call his name Lo-Ammi, for you are not my people, and I will not be yours.And Jehovah said, Call his name Lo-ammi; for ye are not my people, and I will not be your God.여호와께서 말씀하셨습니다. "그 이름을 로암미라 하여라. 너희는 내 백성이 아니며, 나도 너희의 하나님이 되지 않을 것이기 때문이다.
10 Yet the number of the children of Israel will be as the sand of the sea, which can’t be measured or counted; and it will come to pass that, in the place where it was said to them, ‘You are not my people,’ they will be called ‘sons of the living God.’Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass that, in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, it shall be said unto them, Ye are the sons of the living God.그러나 이스라엘 자손의 수가 바다의 모래같이 되어, 헤아릴 수도 없고 셀 수도 없게 될 것이다. 전에는 그들에게 '너희는 내 백성이 아니다'라고 한 그 자리에서, 그들이 '살아 계신 하나님의 아들들'이라 불릴 것이다.
11 The children of Judah and the children of Israel will be gathered together, and they will appoint themselves one head, and will go up from the land; for great will be the day of Jezreel.And the children of Judah and the children of Israel shall be gathered together, and they shall appoint themselves one head, and shall go up from the land; for great shall be the day of Jezreel.유다 자손과 이스라엘 자손이 함께 모여 한 우두머리를 세우고, 그 땅에서 올라올 것이다. 이스르엘의 날이 크기 때문이다.
