6 There were hangings of white and blue material, fastened with cords of fine linen and purple to silver rings and marble pillars. 18 Today, the princesses of Persia and Media who have heard of the queen’s deed will tell all the king’s princes. 19 “If it pleases the king, let a royal commandment go from him, and let it be written among the laws of the Persians and the Medes, so that it cannot be altered, that Vashti may never again come before King Ahasuerus; and let the king give her royal estate to another who is better than she.If it please the king, let there go forth a royal commandment from him, and let it be written among the laws of the Persians and the Medes, that it be not altered, that Vashti come no more before king Ahasuerus; and let the king give her royal estate unto another that is better than she.왕이 좋게 여기신다면, 왕에게서 한 왕명을 내리시되, 고칠 수 없도록 페르시아와 메디아의 법 가운데 기록하게 하십시오. 그래서 와스디가 다시는 아하수에로 왕 앞에 나오지 못하게 하시고, 그녀보다 나은 다른 사람에게 그녀의 왕후 자리를 주십시오.
