1 Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that Yahweh’s word by Jeremiah’s mouth might be accomplished, Yahweh stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, so that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying,Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of Jehovah by the mouth of Jeremiah might be accomplished, Jehovah stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, so that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying,페르시아 왕 고레스 원년에, 여호와께서 예레미야의 입으로 하신 말씀을 이루시려고 페르시아 왕 고레스의 마음을 감동시키셨습니다. 그래서 고레스는 자기 온 나라 안에 두루 칙령을 선포하고 또 글로 적어 이렇게 말했습니다.
2 “ Cyrus king of Persia says, ‘ Yahweh, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth; and he has commanded me to build him a house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah.Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, All the kingdoms of the earth hath Jehovah, the God of heaven, given me; and he hath charged me to build him a house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah."페르시아 왕 고레스가 이같이 말한다. 하늘의 하나님 여호와께서 세상의 모든 나라를 내게 주셨으며, 유다 땅에 있는 예루살렘에 그분을 위하여 성전을 지으라고 내게 명령하셨다.
3 Whoever there is among you of all his people, may his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and build the house of Yahweh, the God of Israel ( he is God ), which is in Jerusalem.Whosoever there is among you of all his people, his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and build the house of Jehovah, the God of Israel ( he is God ), which is in Jerusalem.너희 가운데 그분의 백성에게 속한 사람은 누구든지, 그의 하나님이 함께하시기를 빈다. 그는 유다 땅에 있는 예루살렘으로 올라가서, 예루살렘에 계신 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와의 성전을 지어라. 그분은 참 하나님이시다.
4 Whoever is left, in any place where he lives, let the men of his place help him with silver, with gold, with goods, and with animals, in addition to the free will offering for God’s house which is in Jerusalem.’”And whosoever is left, in any place where he sojourneth, let the men of his place help him with silver, and with gold, and with goods, and with beasts, besides the freewill-offering for the house of God which is in Jerusalem.살아남은 사람은 어디에 머물러 살든지, 그곳 사람들이 은과 금과 물품과 가축으로 그를 도와, 예루살렘에 있는 하나님의 성전을 위한 자원하는 예물 외에도 보태어 주도록 하여라."
5 Then the heads of fathers’ households of Judah and Benjamin, the priests and the Levites, all whose spirit God had stirred to go up, rose up to build Yahweh’s house which is in Jerusalem.Then rose up the heads of fathers’ houses of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests, and the Levites, even all whose spirit God had stirred to go up to build the house of Jehovah which is in Jerusalem.그러자 유다와 베냐민 지파의 각 가문 어른들과 제사장들과 레위 사람들, 곧 하나님께서 그 마음을 감동시키신 모든 사람이 예루살렘에 있는 여호와의 성전을 지으러 올라가려고 일어났습니다.
6 All those who were around them strengthened their hands with vessels of silver, with gold, with goods, with animals, and with precious things, in addition to all that was willingly offered.And all they that were round about them strengthened their hands with vessels of silver, with gold, with goods, and with beasts, and with precious things, besides all that was willingly offered.그들 주위에 있던 모든 사람이 은그릇과 금과 물품과 가축과 값진 물건들로, 그리고 기꺼이 드린 모든 예물 외에도 보태어 그들의 손을 강하게 했습니다.
7 Also Cyrus the king brought out the vessels of Yahweh’s house, which Nebuchadnezzar had brought out of Jerusalem, and had put in the house of his gods;Also Cyrus the king brought forth the vessels of the house of Jehovah, which Nebuchadnezzar had brought forth out of Jerusalem, and had put in the house of his gods;또 고레스 왕은 느부갓네살이 예루살렘에서 가져다가 자기 신들의 신전에 두었던 여호와의 성전 기물들을 가져왔습니다.
8 even those, Cyrus king of Persia brought out by the hand of Mithredath the treasurer, and counted them out to Sheshbazzar the prince of Judah.even those did Cyrus king of Persia bring forth by the hand of Mithredath the treasurer, and numbered them unto Sheshbazzar, the prince of Judah.페르시아 왕 고레스는 그 기물들을 창고지기 미드르닷의 손으로 내어다가, 그 수를 세어 유다의 지도자 세스바살에게 넘겨주었습니다.
9 This is the number of them: thirty platters of gold, one thousand platters of silver, twenty-nine knives,And this is the number of them: thirty platters of gold, a thousand platters of silver, nine and twenty knives,그 기물의 수는 이러했습니다. 금 접시 서른 개, 은 접시 천 개, 칼 스물아홉 개,
10 thirty bowls of gold, four hundred ten silver bowls of a second kind, and one thousand other vessels.thirty bowls of gold, silver bowls of a second sort four hundred and ten, and other vessels a thousand.금 대접 서른 개, 두 번째 종류의 은 대접 사백열 개, 그 밖의 기물 천 개였습니다.
11 All the vessels of gold and of silver were five thousand four hundred. Sheshbazzar brought all these up when the captives were brought up from Babylon to Jerusalem.All the vessels of gold and of silver were five thousand and four hundred. All these did Sheshbazzar bring up, when they of the captivity were brought up from Babylon unto Jerusalem.금과 은으로 된 기물이 모두 오천사백 개였습니다. 사로잡혔던 사람들이 바벨론에서 예루살렘으로 올라올 때, 세스바살이 이 모든 것을 가지고 올라왔습니다.
