1 God, having in the past spoken to the fathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways,God, having of old time spoken unto the fathers in the prophets by divers portions and in divers manners,하나님께서 옛날에는 여러 시대에 걸쳐 여러 가지 방식으로 선지자들을 통하여 조상들에게 말씀하셨으나,
2 has at the end of these days spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the worlds.hath at the end of these days spoken unto us in his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the worlds;이 마지막 날에는 자기 아들을 통하여 우리에게 말씀하셨습니다. 하나님께서는 그 아들을 만물의 상속자로 세우시고, 또한 그를 통하여 온 세계를 지으셨습니다.
3 His Son is the radiance of his glory, the very image of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, who, when he had by himself purified us of our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high,who being the effulgence of his glory, and the very image of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had made purification of sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;그 아들은 하나님의 영광의 광채시요, 그분의 본체의 형상이시며, 자신의 능력의 말씀으로 만물을 붙드십니다. 그는 친히 우리의 죄를 깨끗하게 하신 후에, 높은 곳에 계신 위엄의 하나님 오른편에 앉으셨습니다.
4 having become as much better than the angels as the more excellent name he has inherited is better than theirs.having become by so much better than the angels, as he hath inherited a more excellent name than they.그는 천사들보다 훨씬 뛰어난 분이 되셨으니, 이는 그가 천사들보다 더 탁월한 이름을 상속받으셨기 때문입니다.
5 For to which of the angels did he say at any time, “ You are my Son. Today I have become your father?” and again, “ I will be to him a Father, and he will be to me a Son?”For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, This day have I begotten thee? and again, I will be to him a Father, And he shall be to me a Son?하나님께서 천사들 가운데 누구에게 일찍이 "너는 내 아들이라. 오늘 내가 너를 낳았다"고 말씀하신 적이 있습니까? 또 "나는 그에게 아버지가 되고, 그는 나에게 아들이 되리라"고 하신 적이 있습니까?
6 When he again brings in the firstborn into the world he says, “ Let all the angels of God worship him.”And when he again bringeth in the firstborn into the world he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.또한 하나님께서 그 맏아들을 세상에 들이실 때에 "하나님의 모든 천사들은 그에게 경배하라"고 말씀하십니다.
7 Of the angels he says, “ He makes his angels winds, and his servants a flame of fire.”And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels winds, And his ministers a flame of fire:천사들에 관하여는 "그분은 자기 천사들을 바람으로 삼으시고, 자기 종들을 불꽃으로 삼으신다"고 말씀하시지만,
8 But of the Son he says, “ Your throne, O God, is forever and ever. The scepter of uprightness is the scepter of your Kingdom.but of the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever; And the sceptre of uprightness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.그 아들에 관하여는 이렇게 말씀하십니다. "하나님이여, 주의 보좌는 영원무궁하며, 정의의 막대기가 주의 나라의 막대기입니다.
9 You have loved righteousness and hated iniquity; therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows.”Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; Therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee With the oil of gladness above thy fellows.주께서 의를 사랑하시고 불법을 미워하셨으므로, 하나님 곧 주의 하나님께서 기쁨의 기름을 주의 동료들보다 뛰어나게 주께 부으셨습니다."
10 And, “ You, Lord, in the beginning, laid the foundation of the earth. The heavens are the works of your hands.And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning didst lay the foundation of the earth, And the heavens are the works of thy hands:또 이렇게 말씀하십니다. "주여, 주께서 태초에 땅의 기초를 놓으셨으며, 하늘들도 주의 손으로 지으신 것입니다.
11 They will perish, but you continue. They all will grow old like a garment does.They shall perish; but thou continuest: And they all shall wax old as doth a garment;그것들은 멸망하겠으나 주는 영존하시며, 그것들은 다 옷처럼 낡아질 것입니다.
12 You will roll them up like a mantle, and they will be changed; but you are the same. Your years won’ t fail.”And as a mantle shalt thou roll them up, As a garment, and they shall be changed: But thou art the same, And thy years shall not fail.주께서 그것들을 겉옷처럼 말아 두시면 그것들은 변하겠으나, 주는 한결같으시며 주의 연대는 다함이 없을 것입니다."
13 But which of the angels has he told at any time, “ Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies the footstool of your feet?”But of which of the angels hath he said at any time, Sit thou on my right hand, Till I make thine enemies the footstool of thy feet?하나님께서 천사들 가운데 누구에게 일찍이 "내가 네 원수들을 네 발의 발판으로 삼을 때까지 너는 내 오른편에 앉아 있어라"고 말씀하신 적이 있습니까?
14 Aren’ t they all serving spirits, sent out to do service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation?Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to do service for the sake of them that shall inherit salvation?천사들은 모두 섬기는 영들이 아닙니까? 그들은 구원을 상속받을 사람들을 위하여 섬기라고 보내심을 받은 자들입니다.
