Hebrews 12장

Therefore let’ s also, seeing we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let’ s run with perseverance the race that is set before us,Therefore let us also, seeing we are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,그러므로 우리도 이렇게 큰 증인들의 구름에 둘러싸여 있으니, 모든 무거운 짐과 우리를 그토록 쉽게 얽매는 죄를 벗어 버리고, 우리 앞에 놓인 경주를 인내로 달려갑시다.

looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising its shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.looking unto Jesus the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising shame, and hath sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

For consider him who has endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, that you don’ t grow weary, fainting in your souls. For consider him that hath endured such gainsaying of sinners against himself, that ye wax not weary, fainting in your souls.

You have not yet resisted to blood, striving against sin.Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin:

You have forgotten the exhortation which reasons with you as with children, “ My son, don’ t take lightly the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when you are reproved by him;and ye have forgotten the exhortation which reasoneth with you as with sons, My son, regard not lightly the chastening of the Lord, Nor faint when thou art reproved of him;또한 여러분은 자녀에게 타이르듯 여러분에게 권면하는 말씀을 잊어버렸습니다.

for whom the Lord loves, he disciplines, and chastises every son whom he receives.”For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, And scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

It is for discipline that you endure. God deals with you as with children, for what son is there whom his father doesn’ t discipline? It is for chastening that ye endure; God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is there whom his father chasteneth not?

But if you are without discipline, of which all have been made partakers, then you are illegitimate, and not children. But if ye are without chastening, whereof all have been made partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

Furthermore, we had the fathers of our flesh to chasten us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much rather be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live?Furthermore, we had the fathers of our flesh to chasten us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?

For they indeed for a few days disciplined us as seemed good to them, but he for our profit, that we may be partakers of his holiness. For they indeed for a few days chastened us as seemed good to them; but he for our profit, that we may be partakers of his holiness.

All chastening seems for the present to be not joyous but grievous; yet afterward it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.All chastening seemeth for the present to be not joyous but grievous; yet afterward it yieldeth peaceable fruit unto them that have been exercised thereby, even the fruit of righteousness.

Therefore lift up the hands that hang down and the feeble knees,Wherefore lift up the hands that hang down, and the palsied knees;

and make straight paths for your feet, so what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed.and make straight paths for your feet, that that which is lame be not turned out of the way, but rather be healed.

Follow after peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no man will see the Lord,Follow after peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no man shall see the Lord:모든 사람과 더불어 화평하기를 힘쓰고, 거룩함을 따르십시오.

looking carefully lest there be any man who falls short of the grace of God, lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you and many be defiled by it,looking carefully lest there be any man that falleth short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby the many be defiled;누구든지 하나님의 은혜에서 떨어지는 사람이 없도록, 또 쓴 뿌리가 돋아나 여러분을 괴롭히고 그것으로 많은 사람이 더럽혀지는 일이 없도록 잘 살피십시오.

lest there be any sexually immoral person or profane person, like Esau, who sold his birthright for one meal.lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one mess of meat sold his own birthright.

For you know that even when he afterward desired to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no place for a change of mind though he sought it diligently with tears. For ye know that even when he afterward desired to inherit the blessing, he was rejected; for he found no place for a change of mind in his father, though he sought it diligently with tears.

For you have not come to a mountain that might be touched and that burned with fire, and to blackness, darkness, storm,For ye are not come unto a mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, and unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest,여러분이 나아온 곳은 손으로 만질 수 있고 불이 타오르며 어둠과 흑암과 폭풍이 있는 산이 아니며,

the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which those who heard it begged that not one more word should be spoken to them, and the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that heard entreated that no word more should be spoken unto them;나팔 소리와 말씀하시는 음성이 있는 곳도 아닙니다.

for they could not stand that which was commanded, “ If even an animal touches the mountain, it shall be stoned”.for they could not endure that which was enjoined, If even a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned;그들은 "짐승이라도 그 산에 닿으면 돌로 쳐 죽일 것이다"라고 명하신 것을 감당할 수 없었기 때문입니다.

So fearful was the appearance that Moses said, “ I am terrified and trembling.”and so fearful was the appearance, that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake:그 광경이 너무도 두려워 모세도 "내가 심히 두렵고 떨린다"라고 말하였습니다.

But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to innumerable multitudes of angels, but ye are come unto mount Zion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to innumerable hosts of angels,그러나 여러분이 나아온 곳은 시온 산이며, 살아 계신 하나님의 도성, 곧 하늘의 예루살렘이며, 헤아릴 수 없이 많은 천사들의 무리이며,

to the festal gathering and assembly of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect,to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,하늘에 등록된 장자들의 총회와 교회이며, 만민의 심판자이신 하나님이며, 온전하게 된 의인들의 영들이며,

to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better than that of Abel.and to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaketh better than that of Abel.

See that you don’ t refuse him who speaks. For if they didn’ t escape when they refused him who warned on the earth, how much more will we not escape who turn away from him who warns from heaven,See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not when they refused him that warned them on earth, much more shall not we escape who turn away from him that warneth from heaven:말씀하시는 분을 거절하지 않도록 조심하십시오.

whose voice shook the earth then, but now he has promised, saying, “ Yet once more I will shake not only the earth, but also the heavens.”whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more will I make to tremble not the earth only, but also the heaven.

This phrase, “ Yet once more” signifies the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that have been made, that those things which are not shaken may remain. And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that have been made, that those things which are not shaken may remain."

Therefore, receiving a Kingdom that can’ t be shaken, let’ s have grace, through which we serve God acceptably, with reverence and awe,Wherefore, receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us have grace, whereby we may offer service well-pleasing to God with reverence and awe:그러므로 우리가 흔들리지 않는 나라를 받았으니, 은혜를 간직합시다.

for our God is a consuming fire.for our God is a consuming fire.
