She that was a princess among the provinces is become tributary!사람들로 가득했던 그 성읍이 어쩌다 이렇게 홀로 외롭게 앉아 있는가! 뭇 나라 가운데 위대했던 그 성읍이 과부처럼 되어 버렸구나! 여러 지방 가운데 공주와 같던 그가 이제는 조공을 바치는 신세가 되었구나!

They have gone without strength before the pursuer.And from the daughter of Zion all her majesty is departed: Her princes are become like harts that find no pasture, And they are gone without strength before the pursuer.시온의 딸에게서 그의 모든 위엄이 떠나가 버렸다. 그의 고관들은 꼴을 찾지 못한 사슴처럼 되어, 뒤쫓는 자 앞에서 힘없이 도망쳐 갔구나.

12 “ Is it nothing to you, all you who pass by? Look, and see if there is any sorrow like my sorrow, which is brought on me, with which Yahweh has afflicted me in the day of his fierce anger.Is it nothing to you, all ye that pass by? Behold, and see if there be any sorrow like unto my sorrow, which is brought upon me, Wherewith Jehovah hath afflicted me in the day of his fierce anger.지나가는 모든 사람들이여, 당신들에게는 이것이 아무것도 아닙니까? 보고 살펴보소서, 내게 닥친 이 슬픔과 같은 슬픔이 또 있는지. 여호와께서 그 맹렬한 진노의 날에 나를 이렇게 괴롭게 하셨나이다.

The Lord has trodden the virgin daughter of Judah as in a wine press.The Lord hath set at nought all my mighty men in the midst of me; He hath called a solemn assembly against me to crush my young men: The Lord hath trodden as in a winepress the virgin daughter of Judah.주께서 내 가운데 있는 나의 모든 용사를 무가치한 것으로 만드셨도다. 그분이 나를 치는 모임을 불러 내 젊은이들을 짓밟으셨으며, 주께서 처녀 유다의 딸을 포도주 틀처럼 밟으셨도다.
16 “ For these things I weep. My eye, my eye runs down with water, because the comforter who should refresh my soul is far from me. My children are desolate, because the enemy has prevailed.”For these things I weep; mine eye, mine eye runneth down with water; Because the comforter that should refresh my soul is far from me: My children are desolate, because the enemy hath prevailed.이 일들 때문에 내가 우노라. 내 눈, 내 눈에서 눈물이 물처럼 흘러내리는도다. 내 영혼을 회복시켜 줄 위로자가 내게서 멀리 떨어져 있음이라. 원수가 이겼으므로 내 자녀들이 황폐하게 되었도다.

Jerusalem is among them as an unclean thing.Zion spreadeth forth her hands; there is none to comfort her; Jehovah hath commanded concerning Jacob, that they that are round about him should be his adversaries: Jerusalem is among them as an unclean thing.시온이 두 손을 펴 뻗어도 그를 위로할 자가 없구나. 여호와께서 야곱에 관하여, 그 주위에 있는 자들이 그의 대적이 되라고 명하셨으니, 예루살렘이 그들 가운데서 더러운 것처럼 되었구나.
18 “ Yahweh is righteous, for I have rebelled against his commandment. Please hear all you peoples, and see my sorrow. My virgins and my young men have gone into captivity.Jehovah is righteous; for I have rebelled against his commandment: Hear, I pray you, all ye peoples, and behold my sorrow: My virgins and my young men are gone into captivity.여호와는 의로우시도다. 내가 그분의 명령을 거역하였기 때문이라. 모든 백성들이여, 청컨대 들으시고 나의 슬픔을 보소서. 내 처녀들과 내 젊은이들이 포로로 끌려갔나이다.
19 “ I called for my lovers, but they deceived me. My priests and my elders gave up the spirit in the city, while they sought food for themselves to refresh their souls.I called for my lovers, but they deceived me: My priests and mine elders gave up the ghost in the city, While they sought them food to refresh their souls.내가 나를 사랑하던 자들을 불렀으나 그들이 나를 속였도다. 내 제사장들과 내 장로들은 목숨을 부지하려고 먹을 것을 구하던 중에 성읍 안에서 숨을 거두었도다.
20 “ Look, Yahweh; for I am in distress. My heart is troubled. My heart turns over within me, for I have grievously rebelled. Abroad, the sword bereaves. At home, it is like death.Behold, O Jehovah; for I am in distress; my heart is troubled; My heart is turned within me; for I have grievously rebelled: Abroad the sword bereaveth, at home there is as death.여호와여, 보소서. 내가 고통 가운데 있어 내 마음이 괴롭나이다. 내 마음이 속에서 뒤집히니, 이는 내가 심히 거역하였기 때문이라. 밖에서는 칼이 자식을 앗아 가고, 집 안에서는 죽음과 같나이다.
21 “ They have heard that I sigh. There is no one to comfort me. All my enemies have heard of my trouble. They are glad that you have done it. You will bring the day that you have proclaimed, and they will be like me.They have heard that I sigh; there is none to comfort me; All mine enemies have heard of my trouble; they are glad that thou hast done it: Thou wilt bring the day that thou hast proclaimed, and they shall be like unto me.사람들이 내가 탄식하는 것을 들었으나 나를 위로할 자가 없구나. 나의 모든 원수가 내 환난을 듣고서 주께서 이렇게 행하신 것을 기뻐하나이다. 주께서 선포하신 그 날을 가져오시면, 그들도 나처럼 될 것이니이다.
22 “Let all their wickedness come before you. Do to them as you have done to me for all my transgressions. For my sighs are many, and my heart is faint.Let all their wickedness come before thee; And do unto them, as thou hast done unto me for all my transgressions: For my sighs are many, and my heart is faint.그들의 모든 악행을 주 앞에 가져가시고, 나의 모든 죄악 때문에 내게 행하신 것처럼 그들에게도 행하소서. 내 탄식이 많고 내 마음이 기진하였나이다.
