1 Remember, Yahweh, what has come on us. Look, and see our reproach.Remember, O Jehovah, what is come upon us: Behold, and see our reproach.여호와여, 우리에게 닥친 일을 기억해 주십시오. 굽어보시고 우리가 당한 수치를 살펴 주십시오.
2 Our inheritance has been turned over to strangers, our houses to aliens.Our inheritance is turned unto strangers, Our houses unto aliens.우리의 유산이 낯선 자들에게 넘어갔고, 우리의 집들이 이방 사람들의 차지가 되었습니다.
3 We are orphans and fatherless. Our mothers are as widows.We are orphans and fatherless; Our mothers are as widows.우리는 아버지 없는 고아가 되었고, 우리의 어머니들은 과부와 같이 되었습니다.
4 We must pay for water to drink. Our wood is sold to us.We have drunken our water for money; Our wood is sold unto us.우리는 우리가 마실 물을 돈을 주고 사 마시며, 우리가 쓸 나무도 값을 치르고 들여옵니다.

20 Why do you forget us forever, and forsake us for so long a time?Wherefore dost thou forget us for ever, And forsake us so long time?어찌하여 우리를 영영 잊으시며, 이토록 오랫동안 우리를 버려두십니까?
21 Turn us to yourself, Yahweh, and we will be turned. Renew our days as of old.Turn thou us unto thee, O Jehovah, and we shall be turned; Renew our days as of old.여호와여, 우리를 주님께로 돌이켜 주십시오. 그러면 우리가 돌아가겠습니다. 우리의 날들을 옛날처럼 새롭게 해 주십시오.
22 But you have utterly rejected us. You are very angry against us.But thou hast utterly rejected us; Thou art very wroth against us.그러나 주님은 우리를 완전히 물리치셨고, 우리에게 심히 진노하셨습니다.
