1 Woe to her who is rebellious and polluted, the oppressing city!Woe to her that is rebellious and polluted! to the oppressing city!반역하고 더럽혀진 성, 학대하는 그 성에 화가 있을 것이다!
2 She didn’t obey the voice. She didn’t receive correction. She didn’t trust in Yahweh. She didn’t draw near to her God.She obeyed not the voice; she received not correction; she trusted not in Jehovah; she drew not near to her God.그 성은 그 음성에 순종하지 않았고, 교정을 받아들이지 않았으며, 여호와를 신뢰하지 않았고, 자기 하나님께 가까이 나아가지 않았다.
3 Her princes within her are roaring lions. Her judges are evening wolves. They leave nothing until the next day.Her princes in the midst of her are roaring lions; her judges are evening wolves; they leave nothing till the morrow.그 성 가운데 있는 지도자들은 으르렁거리는 사자와 같고, 그 재판관들은 저녁의 이리와 같아서, 다음 날까지 아무것도 남기지 않는다.
4 Her prophets are arrogant and treacherous people. Her priests have profaned the sanctuary. They have done violence to the law.Her prophets are light and treacherous persons; her priests have profaned the sanctuary, they have done violence to the law.그 성의 선지자들은 거만하고 신의 없는 자들이며, 그 제사장들은 성소를 더럽히고 율법을 짓밟았다.
5 Yahweh, within her, is righteous. He will do no wrong. Every morning he brings his justice to light. He doesn’t fail, but the unjust know no shame.Jehovah in the midst of her is righteous; he will not do iniquity; every morning doth he bring his justice to light, he faileth not; but the unjust knoweth no shame.여호와께서는 그 성 가운데 계시며 의로우셔서 결코 불의를 행하지 않으신다. 그분은 아침마다 자신의 공의를 밝히 드러내시며 결코 실패하지 않으시지만, 불의한 자들은 도무지 부끄러움을 알지 못한다.
6 I have cut off nations. Their battlements are desolate. I have made their streets waste, so that no one passes by. Their cities are destroyed, so that there is no man, so that there is no inhabitant.I have cut off nations; their battlements are desolate; I have made their streets waste, so that none passeth by; their cities are destroyed, so that there is no man, so that there is no inhabitant.내가 여러 민족을 끊어 버렸으니, 그들의 망대는 황폐해졌다. 내가 그들의 거리를 폐허로 만들어 지나가는 자가 없게 했고, 그들의 성읍들을 무너뜨려 사람도 없고 거주민도 없게 했다.
7 I said, “ Just fear me. Receive correction,” so that her dwelling won’t be cut off, according to all that I have appointed concerning her. But they rose early and corrupted all their doings.I said, Only fear thou me; receive correction; so her dwelling shall not be cut off, according to all that I have appointed concerning her: but they rose early and corrupted all their doings.내가 말하기를 "오직 나를 경외하고 교정을 받아들이라. 그리하면 내가 그 성에 관하여 정한 모든 것대로 그 거처가 끊어지지 않으리라" 했지만, 그들은 일찍 일어나 자기들의 모든 행위를 부패하게 만들었다.
8 “ Therefore wait for me”, says Yahweh, “ until the day that I rise up to the prey, for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms to pour on them my indignation, even all my fierce anger, for all the earth will be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.Therefore wait ye for me, saith Jehovah, until the day that I rise up to the prey; for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger; for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.그러므로 여호와께서 말씀하신다. "내가 일어나 노략물을 취하는 그날까지 나를 기다리라. 나의 결심은 민족들을 모으고 나라들을 불러 모아 그들 위에 나의 분노, 곧 나의 맹렬한 진노를 다 쏟아붓는 것이니, 온 땅이 나의 질투의 불에 삼켜질 것이다.
9 For then I will purify the lips of the peoples, that they may all call on Yahweh’s name, to serve him shoulder to shoulder.For then will I turn to the peoples of a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of Jehovah, to serve him with one consent.그때에 내가 백성들의 입술을 정결하게 하여, 그들이 모두 여호와의 이름을 부르고 어깨를 나란히 하여 그분을 섬기게 하리라.
10 From beyond the rivers of Cush, my worshipers, even the daughter of my dispersed people, will bring my offering.From beyond the rivers of Ethiopia my suppliants, even the daughter of my dispersed, shall bring mine offering.구스의 강 너머에서부터 나의 예배자들, 곧 흩어진 내 백성의 딸이 나에게 예물을 가져오리라.
11 In that day you will not be disappointed for all your doings in which you have transgressed against me; for then I will take away out from among you your proudly exulting ones, and you will no more be arrogant in my holy mountain.In that day shalt thou not be put to shame for all thy doings, wherein thou hast transgressed against me; for then I will take away out of the midst of thee thy proudly exulting ones, and thou shalt no more be haughty in my holy mountain.그날에 너는 네가 나를 거슬러 범죄한 너의 모든 행위로 인해 부끄러움을 당하지 않을 것이다. 그때에 내가 네 가운데서 교만하게 우쭐대는 자들을 없애 버리리니, 너는 나의 거룩한 산에서 다시는 교만하지 않으리라.
12 But I will leave among you an afflicted and poor people, and they will take refuge in Yahweh’s name.But I will leave in the midst of thee an afflicted and poor people, and they shall take refuge in the name of Jehovah.그러나 내가 네 가운데 고난받고 가난한 백성을 남겨 두리니, 그들이 여호와의 이름 안에서 피난처를 얻으리라.
13 The remnant of Israel will not do iniquity nor speak lies, neither will a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth, for they will feed and lie down, and no one will make them afraid.”The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth; for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them afraid.이스라엘의 남은 자들은 불의를 행하지 않고 거짓을 말하지 않으며, 그들의 입에서 속이는 혀가 발견되지 않으리라. 그들이 양 떼처럼 먹고 누워도 그들을 두렵게 할 자가 없으리라."
14 Sing, daughter of Zion! Shout, Israel! Be glad and rejoice with all your heart, daughter of Jerusalem.Sing, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel; be glad and rejoice with all the heart, O daughter of Jerusalem.시온의 딸아, 노래하여라! 이스라엘아, 외쳐라! 예루살렘의 딸아, 마음을 다해 기뻐하고 즐거워하여라.
15 Yahweh has taken away your judgments. He has thrown out your enemy. The King of Israel, Yahweh, is among you. You will not be afraid of evil any more.Jehovah hath taken away thy judgments, he hath cast out thine enemy: the King of Israel, even Jehovah, is in the midst of thee; thou shalt not fear evil any more.여호와께서 너에게 내린 심판을 거두어 가셨고, 네 원수를 쫓아내셨다. 이스라엘의 왕이신 여호와께서 네 가운데 계시니, 너는 다시는 재앙을 두려워하지 않으리라.
16 In that day, it will be said to Jerusalem, “Don’t be afraid, Zion. Don’t let your hands be weak.”In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem, Fear thou not; O Zion, let not thy hands be slack.그날에 예루살렘에게 이렇게 말할 것이다. "시온아, 두려워하지 말아라. 네 손에 힘을 잃지 말아라.
17 Yahweh, your God, is among you, a mighty one who will save. He will rejoice over you with joy. He will calm you in his love. He will rejoice over you with singing.Jehovah thy God is in the midst of thee, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love; he will joy over thee with singing.너의 하나님 여호와께서 네 가운데 계시니, 그분은 구원하실 능력 있는 분이시다. 그분이 너로 인해 기쁨으로 즐거워하시며, 그분의 사랑 안에서 너를 잠잠하게 하시고, 너로 인해 노래하며 즐거워하시리라.
18 I will remove those who grieve about the appointed feasts from you. They are a burden and a reproach to you.I will gather them that sorrow for the solemn assembly, who were of thee; to whom the burden upon her was a reproach.정한 절기를 두고 슬퍼하던 자들을 내가 너에게서 제거하리니, 그것들은 너에게 짐이 되고 수치가 되던 것이다.
19 Behold, at that time I will deal with all those who afflict you; and I will save those who are lame and gather those who were driven away. I will give them praise and honor, whose shame has been in all the earth.Behold, at that time I will deal with all them that afflict thee; and I will save that which is lame, and gather that which was driven away; and I will make them a praise and a name, whose shame hath been in all the earth.보아라, 그때에 내가 너를 괴롭히는 모든 자를 처리하리라. 내가 다리 저는 자를 구원하고 쫓겨난 자를 모으리니, 온 땅에서 수치를 당하던 그들에게 내가 찬송과 명예를 주리라.
20 At that time I will bring you in, and at that time I will gather you; for I will give you honor and praise among all the peoples of the earth when I restore your fortunes before your eyes, says Yahweh.At that time will I bring you in, and at that time will I gather you; for I will make you a name and a praise among all the peoples of the earth, when I bring back your captivity before your eyes, saith Jehovah.그때에 내가 너를 데려오고, 그때에 내가 너를 모으리라. 내가 네 눈앞에서 너의 운명을 회복할 때에, 내가 너를 땅의 모든 백성 가운데서 명예롭고 찬송받게 하리라. 여호와께서 말씀하신다.
