3 praying together for us also, that God may open to us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds,withal praying for us also, that God may open unto us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds;또한 우리를 위해서도 함께 기도해 주십시오. 하나님께서 우리에게 말씀의 문을 열어 주셔서 그리스도의 비밀을 전하게 하시기를 빕니다. 내가 이 비밀 때문에 갇혀 있습니다.
4 that I may reveal it as I ought to speak.that I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.내가 마땅히 전해야 할 그대로 이 비밀을 드러낼 수 있도록 기도해 주십시오.
5 Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time.Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.바깥에 있는 사람들을 대할 때에 지혜롭게 행동하고, 기회를 잘 활용하십시오.

7 All my affairs will be made known to you by Tychicus, the beloved brother, faithful servant, and fellow bondservant in the Lord.All my affairs shall Tychicus make known unto you, the beloved brother and faithful minister and fellow-servant in the Lord:나의 모든 형편은 사랑하는 형제요 신실한 일꾼이며 주 안에서 함께 종 된 두기고가 여러분에게 알려 줄 것입니다.
8 I am sending him to you for this very purpose, that he may know your circumstances and comfort your hearts,whom I have sent unto you for this very purpose, that ye may know our state, and that he may comfort your hearts;내가 그를 여러분에게 보내는 것은 바로 이 일을 위함이니, 그가 우리의 사정을 알고 여러분의 마음을 위로하게 하려는 것입니다.

13 For I testify about him that he has great zeal for you, and for those in Laodicea, and for those in Hierapolis.For I bear him witness, that he hath much labor for you, and for them in Laodicea, and for them in Hierapolis.그가 여러분과 라오디게아에 있는 사람들과 히에라볼리에 있는 사람들을 위해 큰 열정을 가지고 있음을 내가 증언합니다.

16 When this letter has been read among you, cause it to be read also in the assembly of the Laodiceans, and that you also read the letter from Laodicea.And when this epistle hath been read among you, cause that it be read also in the church of the Laodiceans; and that ye also read the epistle from Laodicea.이 편지를 여러분 가운데서 읽은 후에는 라오디게아 교회에서도 읽게 하고, 여러분도 라오디게아에서 오는 편지를 읽으십시오.
17 Tell Archippus, “ Take heed to the ministry which you have received in the Lord, that you fulfill it.”And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it.아킵보에게 이렇게 전하십시오. "주 안에서 받은 직무를 잘 살펴 그것을 완수하십시오."
