4 but from the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in God’s sight.but let it be the hidden man of the heart, in the incorruptible apparel of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.
5 For this is how in the past the holy women who hoped in God also adorned themselves, being in subjection to their own husbands. For after this manner aforetime the holy women also, who hoped in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection to their own husbands:예전에 하나님께 소망을 둔 거룩한 여인들도 이렇게 자기 남편에게 순종하며 스스로를 단장했습니다.

8 Finally, all of you be like-minded, compassionate, loving as brothers, tenderhearted, courteous,Finally, be ye all likeminded, compassionate, loving as brethren, tenderhearted, humbleminded:끝으로 여러분 모두 한마음을 품고, 서로 동정하며, 형제처럼 사랑하고, 따뜻한 마음과 겸손한 자세를 지니십시오.

17 For it is better, if it is God’s will, that you suffer for doing what is right than for doing evil. For it is better, if the will of God should so will, that ye suffer for well-doing than for evil-doing.

In it, few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water.that aforetime were disobedient, when the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water:그들은 노아의 때, 곧 방주가 지어지는 동안 하나님께서 오래 참고 기다리실 때에 순종하지 않던 자들입니다.
21 This is a symbol of baptism, which now saves you — not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God — through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, which also after a true likeness doth now save you, even baptism, not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the interrogation of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ;이것은 세례를 보여 주는 상징이니, 세례가 이제 여러분을 구원합니다.
22 who is at the right hand of God, having gone into heaven, angels and authorities and powers being made subject to him.who is on the right hand of God, having gone into heaven; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.
