Peter 2장

Putting away therefore all wickedness, all deceit, hypocrisies, envies, and all evil speaking,Putting away therefore all wickedness, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,그러므로 모든 악함과 모든 속임수와 위선과 시기와 모든 헐뜯는 말을 다 버리고,

as newborn babies, long for the pure spiritual milk, that with it you may grow,as newborn babes, long for the spiritual milk which is without guile, that ye may grow thereby unto salvation;갓 태어난 아기처럼 순수한 말씀의 젖을 사모하십시오.

if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious.if ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious:여러분은 이미 주께서 인자하시다는 것을 맛보았기 때문입니다.

Come to him, a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God, precious.unto whom coming, a living stone, rejected indeed of men, but with God elect, precious,사람에게는 버림받았으나 하나님께는 택하심을 입어 보배로운, 살아 있는 돌이신 그분께로 나아오십시오.

You also as living stones are built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.ye also, as living stones, are built up a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

Because it is contained in Scripture, “ Behold, I lay in Zion a chief cornerstone, chosen and precious. He who believes in him will not be disappointed.”Because it is contained in scripture, Behold, I lay in Zion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: And he that believeth on him shall not be put to shame.

For you who believe therefore is the honor, but for those who are disobedient, “ The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone,”For you therefore that believe is the preciousness: but for such as disbelieve, The stone which the builders rejected, The same was made the head of the corner;그러므로 믿는 여러분에게는 그분이 보배이지만, 믿지 않는 사람들에게는 "건축자들이 버린 돌이 도리어 모퉁이의 머릿돌이 되었고,"

and, “ a stumbling stone and a rock of offense.” For they stumble at the word, being disobedient, to which also they were appointed.and, A stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence; for they stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, that you may proclaim the excellence of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. But ye are an elect race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, that ye may show forth the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:그러나 여러분은 택하심을 받은 족속이요, 왕 같은 제사장이요, 거룩한 나라요, 하나님께서 친히 소유로 삼으신 백성입니다.

In the past, you were not a people, but now are God’s people, who had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.who in time past were no people, but now are the people of God: who had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

Beloved, I beg you as foreigners and pilgrims to abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul,Beloved, I beseech you as sojourners and pilgrims, to abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;사랑하는 여러분, 나그네와 순례자 된 여러분에게 권합니다.

having good behavior among the nations, so in that of which they speak against you as evildoers, they may see your good works and glorify God in the day of visitation.having your behavior seemly among the Gentiles; that, wherein they speak against you as evil-doers, they may by your good works, which they behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.

Therefore subject yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord’ s sake: whether to the king, as supreme,Be subject to every ordinance of man for the Lord’ s sake: whether to the king, as supreme;그러므로 주를 위하여 사람이 세운 모든 제도에 순종하십시오.

or to governors, as sent by him for vengeance on evildoers and for praise to those who do well.or unto governors, as sent by him for vengeance on evil-doers and for praise to them that do well.

For this is the will of God, that by well-doing you should put to silence the ignorance of foolish men.For so is the will of God, that by well-doing ye should put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:선을 행함으로 어리석은 사람들의 무지한 입을 막는 것, 이것이 하나님의 뜻입니다.

Live as free people, yet not using your freedom for a cloak of wickedness, but as bondservants of God.as free, and not using your freedom for a cloak of wickedness, but as bondservants of God.

Honor all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.Honor all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.

Servants, be in subjection to your masters with all respect, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the wicked.Servants, be in subjection to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward.

For it is commendable if someone endures pain, suffering unjustly, because of conscience toward God.For this is acceptable, if for conscience toward God a man endureth griefs, suffering wrongfully.

For what glory is it if, when you sin, you patiently endure beating? But if when you do well, you patiently endure suffering, this is commendable with God.For what glory is it, if, when ye sin, and are buffeted for it, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye shall take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.

For you were called to this, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving you an example, that you should follow his steps,For hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, that ye should follow his steps:여러분은 바로 이 일을 위해 부르심을 받았습니다.

who didn’ t sin, “ neither was deceit found in his mouth.”who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:그분은 죄를 짓지 않으셨고, "그 입에는 속임수도 없으셨습니다."

When he was cursed, he didn’ t curse back. When he suffered, he didn’ t threaten, but committed himself to him who judges righteously.who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:그분은 욕을 당하셔도 되받아 욕하지 않으셨고, 고난을 당하셔도 위협하지 않으시고, 의롭게 심판하시는 분께 자기를 맡기셨습니다.

He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. You were healed by his wounds.who his own self bare our sins in his body upon the tree, that we, having died unto sins, might live unto righteousness; by whose stripes ye were healed.

For you were going astray like sheep; but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls. For ye were going astray like sheep; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.
