But false prophets also arose among the people, as false teachers will also be among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, denying even the Master who bought them, bringing on themselves swift destruction. But there arose false prophets also among the people, as among you also there shall be false teachers, who shall privily bring in destructive heresies, denying even the Master that bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction.
Many will follow their immoral ways, and as a result, the way of the truth will be maligned. And many shall follow their lascivious doings; by reason of whom the way of the truth shall be evil spoken of.
In covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words: whose sentence now from of old doesn’ t linger, and their destruction will not slumber. And in covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose sentence now from of old lingereth not, and their destruction slumbereth not.
For if God didn’ t spare angels when they sinned, but cast them down to Tartarus, and committed them to pits of darkness to be reserved for judgment; For if God spared not angels when they sinned, but cast them down to hell, and committed them to pits of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;하나님께서는 천사들이 죄를 지었을 때 그들을 용서하지 않으시고, 지옥에 던지셔서 어둠의 구덩이에 가두어 심판 때까지 가두어 두셨습니다.
and didn’t spare the ancient world, but preserved Noah with seven others, a preacher of righteousness, when he brought a flood on the world of the ungodly, and spared not the ancient world, but preserved Noah with seven others, a preacher of righteousness, when he brought a flood upon the world of the ungodly;또 옛 세상을 용서하지 않으시고, 경건하지 않은 세상에 홍수를 내리실 때에 의를 전파하던 노아와 그 일곱 식구를 보존하셨습니다.
and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them to destruction, having made them an example to those who would live in an ungodly way,and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, having made them an example unto those that should live ungodly;또 소돔과 고모라 성을 잿더미로 만드셔서 멸망에 처하게 하시고, 경건하지 않게 살려는 자들에게 본보기로 삼으셨습니다.
and delivered righteous Lot, who was very distressed by the lustful life of the wickedand delivered righteous Lot, sore distressed by the lascivious life of the wicked또 무법한 자들의 음란한 삶으로 심히 괴로워하던 의로운 롯을 건지셨습니다.
( for that righteous man dwelling among them was tormented in his righteous soul from day to day with seeing and hearing lawless deeds ),( for that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their lawless deeds ):(그 의로운 사람은 그들 가운데 살면서, 보고 듣는 무법한 행위들로 인해 날마다 그 의로운 마음이 고통을 받았습니다.)
then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptation and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgment, the Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptation, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment unto the day of judgment;이처럼 주님께서는 경건한 자들을 시험에서 건져내실 줄 아시고, 불의한 자들은 심판의 날까지 형벌 아래 가두어 두실 줄 아십니다.
but chiefly those who walk after the flesh in the lust of defilement and despise authority. Daring, self-willed, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignitaries, but chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of defilement, and despise dominion. Daring, self-willed, they tremble not to rail at dignities:특히 더러운 정욕을 따라 육체의 욕망대로 행하며 권위를 멸시하는 자들을 그렇게 하십니다.
whereas angels, though greater in might and power, don’t bring a slanderous judgment against them before the Lord.whereas angels, though greater in might and power, bring not a railing judgment against them before the Lord.
But these, as unreasoning creatures, born natural animals to be taken and destroyed, speaking evil in matters about which they are ignorant, will in their destroying surely be destroyed,But these, as creatures without reason, born mere animals to be taken and destroyed, railing in matters whereof they are ignorant, shall in their destroying surely be destroyed,그러나 이 사람들은 이성 없는 짐승처럼, 본래 잡혀 죽기 위해 태어난 동물과 같아서, 알지도 못하는 일들을 비방하다가 그 멸망 가운데서 반드시 멸망당할 것입니다.
receiving the wages of unrighteousness; people who count it pleasure to revel in the daytime, spots and defects, reveling in their deceit while they feast with you;suffering wrong as the hire of wrong-doing; men that count it pleasure to revel in the day-time, spots and blemishes, revelling in their deceivings while they feast with you;그들은 불의의 대가를 받을 것입니다.
having eyes full of adultery, and who can’t cease from sin, enticing unsettled souls, having a heart trained in greed, accursed children!having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; enticing unstedfast souls; having a heart exercised in covetousness; children of cursing;그들의 눈은 음욕으로 가득 차서 죄짓기를 그치지 못하며, 흔들리는 영혼들을 유혹하고, 탐욕에 익숙해진 마음을 품은 저주의 자식들입니다.
Forsaking the right way, they went astray, having followed the way of Balaam the son of Beor, who loved the wages of wrongdoing;forsaking the right way, they went astray, having followed the way of Balaam the son of Beor, who loved the hire of wrong-doing;그들은 바른 길을 버리고 떠나, 브올의 아들 발람의 길을 따라갔습니다.
but he was rebuked for his own disobedience. A speechless donkey spoke with a man’ s voice and stopped the madness of the prophet.but he was rebuked for his own transgression: a dumb ass spake with man’ s voice and stayed the madness of the prophet.
These are wells without water, clouds driven by a storm, for whom the blackness of darkness has been reserved forever. These are springs without water, and mists driven by a storm; for whom the blackness of darkness hath been reserved.
For, uttering great swelling words of emptiness, they entice in the lusts of the flesh, by licentiousness, those who are indeed escaping from those who live in error; For, uttering great swelling words of vanity, they entice in the lusts of the flesh, by lasciviousness, those who are just escaping from them that live in error;그들은 허황된 큰소리를 늘어놓으며, 잘못된 길에서 가까스로 벗어나는 자들을 육체의 정욕과 방탕으로 유혹합니다.
promising them liberty, while they themselves are bondservants of corruption; for a man is brought into bondage by whoever overcomes him.promising them liberty, while they themselves are bondservants of corruption; for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he also brought into bondage.
For if, after they have escaped the defilement of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in it and overcome, the last state has become worse for them than the first. For if, after they have escaped the defilements of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein and overcome, the last state is become worse with them than the first.
For it would be better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than after knowing it, to turn back from the holy commandment delivered to them. For it were better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after knowing it, to turn back from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
But it has happened to them according to the true proverb, “ The dog turns to his own vomit again,” and “ the sow that has washed to wallowing in the mire.”It has happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog turning to his own vomit again, and the sow that had washed to wallowing in the mire."개가 토한 것을 다시 먹는다"는 말과 "씻은 돼지가 다시 진흙탕에 뒹군다"는 참된 속담대로 그들에게 그대로 일어났습니다.
