2 Peter 1장

1 Simon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, to those who have obtained a like precious faith with us in the righteousness of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ:Simon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained a like precious faith with us in the righteousness of our God and the Saviour Jesus Christ:예수 그리스도의 종이며 사도인 시몬 베드로는, 우리 하나님과 구주이신 예수 그리스도의 의를 통해 우리와 똑같이 보배로운 믿음을 받은 이들에게 이 편지를 씁니다.

2 Grace to you and peace be multiplied in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord,Grace to you and peace be multiplied in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord;하나님을 알고 우리 주 예수를 아는 그 지식 안에서 은혜와 평강이 여러분에게 더욱 풍성하기를 빕니다.

3 seeing that his divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and virtue, seeing that his divine power hath granted unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that called us by his own glory and virtue;그분의 신적 능력이, 자신의 영광과 덕으로 우리를 부르신 분을 아는 지식을 통하여, 생명과 경건에 속한 모든 것을 우리에게 주셨습니다.

4 by which he has granted to us his precious and exceedingly great promises; that through these you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world by lust.whereby he hath granted unto us his precious and exceeding great promises; that through these ye may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world by lust.

5 Yes, and for this very cause adding on your part all diligence, in your faith supply moral excellence; and in moral excellence, knowledge;Yea, and for this very cause adding on your part all diligence, in your faith supply virtue; and in your virtue knowledge;그러므로 바로 이 일을 위해 여러분은 온갖 힘을 다하여, 믿음에 도덕적 탁월함을, 그 도덕적 탁월함에 지식을,

6 and in knowledge, self-control; and in self-control, perseverance; and in perseverance, godliness;and in your knowledge self-control; and in your self-control patience; and in your patience godliness;그 지식에 절제를, 그 절제에 인내를, 그 인내에 경건을,

7 and in godliness, brotherly affection; and in brotherly affection, love.and in your godliness brotherly kindness; and in your brotherly kindness love.

8 For if these things are yours and abound, they make you to not be idle or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. For if these things are yours and abound, they make you to be not idle nor unfruitful unto the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

9 For he who lacks these things is blind, seeing only what is near, having forgotten the cleansing from his old sins. For he that lacketh these things is blind, seeing only what is near, having forgotten the cleansing from his old sins.

10 Therefore, brothers, be more diligent to make your calling and election sure. For if you do these things, you will never stumble.Wherefore, brethren, give the more diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never stumble:그러므로 형제들이여, 여러분의 부르심과 택하심을 더욱 굳게 하도록 힘쓰십시오.

11 For thus you will be richly supplied with the entrance into the eternal Kingdom of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.for thus shall be richly supplied unto you the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

12 Therefore I will not be negligent to remind you of these things, though you know them and are established in the present truth.Wherefore I shall be ready always to put you in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and are established in the truth which is with you.

13 I think it right, as long as I am in this tent, to stir you up by reminding you,And I think it right, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting you in remembrance;내가 이 장막에 있는 동안에는, 여러분을 일깨워 분발하게 하는 것이 옳다고 생각합니다.

14 knowing that the putting off of my tent comes swiftly, even as our Lord Jesus Christ made clear to me.knowing that the putting off of my tabernacle cometh swiftly, even as our Lord Jesus Christ signified unto me.

15 Yes, I will make every effort that you may always be able to remember these things even after my departure.Yea, I will give diligence that at every time ye may be able after my decease to call these things to remembrance.

16 For we didn’ t follow cunningly devised fables when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty. For we did not follow cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty.

17 For he received from God the Father honor and glory when the voice came to him from the Majestic Glory, “ This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”For he received from God the Father honor and glory, when there was borne such a voice to him by the Majestic Glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased:그분이 지극히 큰 영광 가운데서 "이는 내 사랑하는 아들이요, 내가 그를 기뻐한다"는 음성이 임했을 때, 하나님 아버지께로부터 존귀와 영광을 받으셨습니다.

18 We heard this voice come out of heaven when we were with him on the holy mountain.and this voice we ourselves heard borne out of heaven, when we were with him in the holy mount.

19 We have the more sure word of prophecy; and you do well that you heed it as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star arises in your hearts,And we have the word of prophecy made more sure; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day-star arise in your hearts:우리에게는 더욱 확실한 예언의 말씀이 있습니다.

20 knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of private interpretation.knowing this first, that no prophecy of scripture is of private interpretation.

21 For no prophecy ever came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke, being moved by the Holy Spirit. For no prophecy ever came by the will of man: but men spake from God, being moved by the Holy Spirit.
