zē´fon - ı̄ts , zḗ - fō´nı̄ts ( הצּפוני , ha - cephōnı̄ ; ὁ Σαφωνί , ho Saphōnı́ , Codex Alexandrinus omits): A family of Gadites descended from Zephon ( Numbers 26:15 ), who is called "Ziphion" in Genesis 46:16 .
