nı̄´fis ( Νειφείς , Neipheı́s , Codex Alexandrinus Φινείς , Phineı́s ; the King James Version Nephis ): Given in 1 Esdras 5:21 margin as = "Magbish" of Ezra 2:30 , whose sons are the same in number (156) as those of Niphis, but it would seem rather to be the equivalent of Nebo in Ezra 2:29 .
