iz - ra - hı̄´a ( יזרחיה , yizraḥyāh , "Yah appears, or shines"): (1) A descendant of Issachar, grandson of Tola, only son of Uzzi (1 Chronicles 7:3 ). (2) The leader of the singing at the purification of the people, on the occasion of Nehemiah's reformation; here rendered "Jezrahiah" (Nehemiah 12:42 ).
