ē´nan ( ענן , ‛ēnān , "having fountains," or "eyes," i.e. "keen-eyed"; in Septuagint Αἰνάν , Ainán ): The father of Ahira, and prince of Naphtali at the first census of Israel (Numbers 1:15; Numbers 2:29; Numbers 7:78 , Numbers 7:83; Numbers 10:27 ).
