ā´kub (Codex Vaticanus, Ἀκούφ , Akoúph ; Codex Alexandrinus, Ἀκούμ , Akoúm ) = Bakbuk (Ezra 2:51; Nehemiah 7:53 ): The descendants of Acub (temple-servants) returned with Zerubbabel to Jerusalem (1 Esdras 5:31).
