2. To speak evil of no man —especially, not of "dignities" and magistrates. no brawlers —"not quarrelsome," not attacking others. gentle —towards those who attack us. Yielding, considerate, not urging one's rights to the uttermost, but forbearing and kindly (see on :- ).
