20. escaped of the nations —those of the nations who shall have escaped the slaughter inflicted by Cyrus. Now, at last, ye shall see the folly of "praying to a god that cannot save" ( :- ). Ultimately, those that shall be "left of all the nations which shall come against Jerusalem" are meant ( :- ).
