Angel of the Lord

Angel of the Lord, plays a central part in several stories of the Bible.

When Hagar had fled from Sarai, he told her to go back to Sarai. He also told her, that she would be the mother of a people and would gave birth to a son called Ishmael.

Just when Abraham was about to sacrifice his son Isaac, the angel intervened and told him not to touch the boy.

The angel of the Lord was also in the burning bush that Moses saw in the desert.

He opposed Balaam while he was on his way to Balak.
